I have to be the unluckiest guy in fantasy football history and I'm gonna die an unhappy man if I never manage to win one of these stupid leagues. About 5-years ago I pulled a Patriots before the Patriots did it...I strung together 13 consecutive wins only to lose by a handful of points in the final. I went into retirement after that only to join a league last season where I outscored 13 other teams only to finish in 5th and miss the playoffs because I somehow managed to allow the most points in the league.
I join the same league again this season and I've scored the 4th most highest points so far but have allowed the 2nd most in the league. It's ridiculous, I've allowed 80+ points every single week this season while other teams have allowed that much maybe 3-4 times. Then you have guys who are lucky enough to win with 60-70 points while I lose with 90+ points like I did once again this week. I've scored more points than 3 out of the teams currently sitting in playoff spots but a couple of them have been fortunate enough to have allowed 100 points less than me
I swear fantasy football is a lot like playing poker. Even if you make the right decisions and play well there is the chance that someone will get more lucky than you and end up beating you. Atleast with other fantasy sports with head-to-head formats the best teams usually come out on top but in fantasy football you can be one of the highest scorers every week and still end up losing regularly.
%+#@%* bull crap man...I'm tired of this crap. End of rant
