Personally I think they did an awesome job with the trail busters, they took a shoe that got no attention and did a great job with it. As for the GT it is becoming harder for boutiques to make 998 collabs now with the NB1. Because every time a 998 collab comes out people just say you can make it on NB1 and what motor complain about the price.Patiently waits something better from Concepts...IMO the last two collabs have been meh. I own 25 of their collaborations and am itching to add to my collection. I've supported them locally for almost ten years. I know they have some serious projects this year just wish they would slow down the collabs. Im not just talking about Concepts. Then again this is the current sneaker world we live in. Seems to be 2 collabs a week and they are watered down IMO some even going on sale. I miss grade A materials, over the top packaging, little extras that go with the theme, shoes that tell a story/or explain the inspiration. Just venting (woooosssaaaa) rubs earlobes in a gentle circular motion.
Just for the record I talking about the Thermals and the Trail Busters. I like the GTs, what u said about NB1 is def right though.Personally I think they did an awesome job with the trail busters, they took a shoe that got no attention and did a great job with it. Its the same case with the thermals. Nike, NB and Asics don't want to give boutiques shoes that already have plenty of hype and no problem selling. I think its great they're taking less popular models and re vamping them.Just for the record I talking about the Thermals and the Trail Busters. I 100% agree with you sir. Im curious ... what about the trailbusters impressed anybody . The price ? The 3m ? Gum bottom ? I liked the price and the 3m. Been spending too much time chasing after Jordans.

Thats because Nike uses synthetic suede, NB made in USA/UK is mostly dyed pigskin suede which can fade or transfer if you get them too wet. How do you think they got the bright orange color in the first place? Suede doesn't naturally come in bright citrus colors lol.
Anyone have the orange luxury goods? i tried cleaning my pair today with some Jason Marks and noticed that the orange comes right off. WTF...never had this happen with a pair of nikes before smh.
I thought the luxury good and rose were both perfect 997 collabs, some hate on the orange goods and I get that its a hard shoe to pull off. I've been saying for awhile that I think Commonwealth should have another shot at some NB's. There track record has been mostly solid for their retro sneakers done with the premium cuts and attention to detail. I do think a small part of it has to do with the sheer number or collabs that get produced, giving us a spoiled pov because of the rich free market system sneakers have been enjoying lately which constantly has us comparing and critiquing. Before we only were given a handful of collabs each year to choose from so naturally we would be more inclined to appreciate those with the limited choices.Patiently waits something better from Concepts...IMO the last two collabs have been meh.
