The Official Black Mirror Thread: Season 6 on Netflix Now

Oh so these ****** are virtually gay.

Got a beauty like Beharie but he off smashing his man's posing as a woman.

Creator to write an episode involving VT, trans curiosity, homosexuality, Asian fetish, and gender/sexual fluidity.

Wow @ even telling this story.

Now we know why we never see Clarence with a girl in the MCU

Season was trash 3/8 they definitely running out of material.

This isn't good so far.

They've strayed far away from what Black Mirror use to be.

So what was the inspiration for this tale? Were you playing Street Fighter and went, “You know, that ninja is actually pretty cute?”

BROOKER: You’re nearly right. Those games are incredibly hypersexualized. When you actually compare the actual physical characteristics of characters in those games to actual human beings, they’re insane. They’re like a sexualized Hulk. Once again, it came out of two thoughts. The first was, we wanted to do a story where two people went into a virtual environment and had a romance but didn’t know who the other one was. And then I remembered years ago in the ’90s I used to play Tekken on the PlayStation a lot. And my flatmates and I would play it all hours of the day and night. And I remember thinking the people below and above our flat must have thought we were operating some sort of S&M dungeon because of the constant noise of men [making shouting, grunting noises]. And I thought there is something homoerotic about this arena in which you’re physically grappling with your friends on the screen. There’s something weirdly primal about it.

So hard to believe when you think about how many season Rod Sterling was pushing the Twilight Zone, nevermind Outer Limits, and the 3 additional Twilight Zone attempts, Night Gallery, etc. They just aren't trying if they are running out of ideas.

i can see what they tried to do with zuckerberg story being socially relevant

even miley cyrus ep if it focused more on girls body issues

now, I have an unblemished record of staunch heterosexuality, but there's something to what he's saying here.

there's a reason why Chun-Li looks the way she does, why Dead or Alive was so popular, why hentai.

y'all REALLY think this scenario wouldn't happen A LOT if--when--the tech advances to this point?

...or does it just make you uncomfortable? because that's what Black Mirror is all about.

so I've been an avid hardcore sf player since ww...
and na. i'm not buying that thought process either.
with that logic the same could be said about comic books, action figures, etc.

I've never in my life felt the way those two felt in episode 1. ever. never ever.
df.

and I play female characters typically because they're faster and fit my playstyle (typically rushdown/trap oriented/something where I can control space).
so for example
tekken alisa
mvc3/umc3 my main was tron
vf5 Eileen
3s chun (and oro and hugo and ken too)

now I left off a lot of games because I play male characters in those but those are a few where I play female characters and I never thought about some stuff like what was in that episode.

There may be a reason why. They're just not quite dots I've personally ever connected in my experience with gaming. I'd also like to think that anytime I've ever played video games with anyone...that my neighbors below didn't think I was getting some S&M **** off in the crib...which is what i was particularly reacting to. As for the scenario in the episode and it's feasibility, I'm not denying that either. I know full well what's coming with this next wave of tech.

Hold up trying to keep up are you referring to a certain episode. I haven't had time to watch the new "season". I am guessing you mean the first episode. **** it, I will watch the first episode tonight after work.

I could see other scenarios at best but that particular one as the default for us hardcore gamers and our thoughts/feelings or whatever? na.
never in my life lol.

I appreciate you taking the time to consider my contention...I play fighting games for the fighting too, but I've also seen this box of pills in several local corner stores:

there are DEFINITELY folks out here down for the freaky fantasy *******. they can't have my gamertag tho.

the S&M stuff was too much for me too, that's not where my mind immediately goes...sometimes dudes are just watching a football game or whatever.

idk, for me the conversation it opened up was really interesting...it's not thaaaat many steps away from sending another dude some porn (which I also do not do).

hell, I'm STILL not sure if Clarence's behavior could be described as fully homosexual, given that neither party liked the...um, real-life experiment.

they WERE cuddling and **** in the game tho, I can't intellectualize around that one.

I've honestly been thinking about the episode since the moment it went off.

I am indeed, trying to keep the spoilers light because that was some WILD ****.

F it, we got the wifi here at work might just watch the episode at work.

The premise of that first episode was original AF, I personally loved it, really had me thinking, are they gay? Is it an emotional connection? Or just physical? I think they were legit in love and the characters were just a visual aid for them to accept with more ease their preference..

So i foolishly skimmed this thread and see that there's apparently some type of homosexual implications in the first episode. It's foreshadowed by the episode title actually.

I'm gonna throw my tinfoil hat on...

That Miley episode might be an interpretation of her own life. I mean it resembles her switch up.

Hannah Montana to ratchet twerking Miley? Seems too similar to be coincidence.

Can someone shed some light on that ep 1 ending? Did they wife just say F it go be virtually gay on holidays and ill go get some real ****?
