That was a pretty Wack chapter IMO.
I wanted to see how law started working for Doflamingo and WHY are they repeating everyone's name again that was a waste
The dellinger thing was interesting I guess
They showed how Law started working for Doflamingo. That was at the beginning of the flashback. He came to Doflamingo in order to get revenge against the world for what happened at Flevance. It was mentioned at the beginning of the arc he left Doflamingo's crew 13 years ago, which is the exact end of the flashback when Cora dies. Doffy originally wanted to raise Law to be his right hand man, then when Law got the Ope Ope no mi he wanted to get Law to die for him by giving him immortality. The only reason he didn't kill Law in the previous fights was he was hoping he could still force Law into that and because he still saw Law as a child just rebelling against him.
As for why they did the recap, that's because it's been awhile since the flashback so they have to reset the scene. The younger audience, which is the main audience of Jump has been having a hard time keeping up with what's been going on in the arc, so they're trying to make things clearer.
Chapter was just decent. We got Cavendish about to fall asleep and Hakuba about to come out, we got Doffy getting hit, info on Dellinger, so we got some small things. I am tired of the way Luffy is being portrayed tho just to buy time. That's frustrating. Also, how Robin is handled is frustrating.
Ahhh I thought that law stayed in the crew longer so I was thinking that he stayed with the crew after Cora died and was plotting on doffy the whole time. But ohhhh ok I get you. That makes more sense
Been on a slice of life/comedy kick, anyone got any good recommendations?
This surprised me too. The plot came out of nowhere.**** suddenly got real in 1815Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de (thank goodness for copy/paste ) this week. I'm guessing that it's only 12 episodes so they had to go ahead and actually advance the plot somehow. I'm not mad at that decision one bit.

I mean, I get angry when anime gets white washed, so I guess I have to also get upset with lazy Japanese casting.
I took me a year to read 500 OP chapters. So many One piece spoilers and discussions, and im just sitting here like...
Breh. Oda has been dropping clues for years.
