Yeah there are a lot of fillers in the beginning, though story is picking up the last couple of eps that are out, I wouldn't say they have fillers because I watched all the eps so far and it kinda moves the plot along, maybe the beach ep that one was useless and maybe the one about the lunch.

Avatar wikia has 26 episodes, hopefully its that instead. I think its better that they don't follow the same template like the first one. Sounds like some of the voice actors are returning too.
