The Official Anime & Manga Thread Vol: 三

I thought the goal was the find all of sukuna fingers, have itadori eat them, and then have sorcerers kill itadori so sukuna can never come back
Oh you mean the goal of the teachers/faculty but they're portrayed as inevitable opps too.

Gojo ain't on that tho.

I'm not closed-minded about it, I just expected better after all of the hype. There's just not enough for me in season 1 to be completely satisfied. It's still enjoyable, but season 1 just feels like a "build-up" more than anything, like an intro to a CD.
You anime only?

You anime only?

might be since theres a good amount of backstory up to this point in the manga with Gojo and other characters that i won't spoil
When Hidden Inventory arc hits…they’ll see :nerd:

Admittedly the first couple arcs of JJK are a little generic. You get the intro arc and then you essentially go straight into a standard school tournament. It’s pretty reliant on Gojo and a couple hype moments early on.

Everything starts to fall into place when you get some backstory in Hidden Inventory and then its off to Shibuya :wow:

Aw ok. Well then you are in for treat once Season 2 hits.
Sounds good, I look forward to it. So far, I got Fire Force, Ranking Of Kings, Cyberpunk, and even Black Clover above it for anime that I got into in 2022. It's still better than Bleach though.

Damn. Million Knives in Trigun stampede is sadistic AF. That attack of his was dope though.

One Piece 1072
Kind of thought Zoro would one shot him, but then again he likes to take his time with enemies unless he is angry or in a hurry.

Last episode of Trigun was tense and definitely progressed the plot. I don’t remember the story being like that (but it was 20 years ago).

Never watched anime in my life, would like to start somewhere at some point this year. What are some good ones to start off with?

Finished Chainsaw man anime. Twas enjoyable. Like an R rated Jujutsu Kaisen. Now, back to One Piece. I'm in the 700s. Started it back in Aug i think.

This is different. Closer to the manga then the original series.

Not buying this but probably should spoiler tag since its more recent and we got some anime watchers in here.

I’m about to read the manga. But Million Knives was definitely different than the gun slinger we got in the OG Anime.

What are you interested in seeing?

If you want to jus start with whatever try these…Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Gurren Laggan, Fullmetal Alchemist OG & Brotherhood, or Yu Yu Hakasho.
