TBH Boruto Manga has been absolute fire. It's basically Hokage Naruto Story.

Well that makes it sound worse. Boruto just starts being fire and now the dude telling the story gets fired so Kishi come through with the big time rehash? Or tie in his Samurai 8nstuff?
Unless the guy was like yo I'm gonna kill Naruto and then I'm out yall better find a replacement this doesn't bring a lot of excitement. The problem being there doesn't seem to be more to do here and Kishi told his story.

Everything about Madara, Obito for me. I really hated those characters and what they brought to the story. And that zetsu ****.....that “IT WAS ME ZETSU ALL ALONG” was so trash. Also this random moon alien mom that’s never been hinted at the large majority of the series

I personally didn't mind the Madara + Obito bit. I found it cool and it led to some cool scenes like Night Guy. But the whole Kaguya angle that wasn't hinted at all completely ruined it for me. How you gonna have the final boss on the cusp of death, only for the "true" final boss to appear and say "sup. this is my series now".

Shippudden was more or transitioning phase than an actual ending. I didn't see the anime so they might've tweaked a bit, but in the manga it was like wtf?
I mean, I was still a little sad w/ it "ending" b/c I had been reading it sense the 5th grade, but man that **** fell apart. Kaygua coming outta nowhere was trash. I was expecting a Hagoromo (or his brother) plot twist, but not the mother that was damn near never mentioned b4.
