When you throw them in the washing machine do you just throw them in or put them in a bag? I’m thinking of doing with with one of my pairs

Remove the insoles and laces. Take 2 older pillow covers and put 1 shoe in each. Use a lace to tie up each cover, make sure the laces are really tight so the shoe won't come out but also make sure the shoe has room to move inside the cover, and make sure the knot's loose ends are not too long to avoid them getting stuck somewhere in the machine.

Use some regular detergent and set a short cycle (mine's 30 C for 20 mins).

It'll take appr. 2 days for them to dry completely.

If the shoes are really dirty you might want to do some handwashing first, focusing on certain spots only.

Nylon lingerie bags work well too, allows water in and out easy.

My old post before NT shut down was… that the colors are pretty good. However, since there is no option for suede components, ESP for the mudguard, I don’t think that I’d order as many. If suede was an option, I’m certain that I’d order AT LEAST ten designs.

I know creases are inevitable. But creases look worse and more exaggerated with the leather. After wearing my AM1 NBYs with leather mudguards (from last yea’s batch and the great 2023 palette) for the first time, it was difficult not to notice how bad the creasing was. They appeared mangled and dingy that just after one wear! It was eem worse with the NBYs that had a leather toe/base and leather mudguard.

There are also limitations in colorblocking where options are joint, which I’m not fan of. So far, it’s looking like I’d actually three or four MAX. I’ll order two as starters to see how they turn out,.. or wait on y’all!

Came back after some time away to chat about the new NBY.

Real bummer about the materials. Some great colors but the leather only options are such a bummer. And not even a perforated leather option!!

At this point I'm hoping for an online 'bespoke-light' program, where you have more colors (obsidian for example), patterns (polka dot, lumberjack flannel, etc.), materials (suede, corduroy) and where each part of the shoe can be selected (instead of forcing one color on multiple parts).

I don't mind paying 500 with options like that.

An easy fix for the current NBY program is adding a couple of darker colors for the 'base' of the shoe. Again, obsidian (or navy for that matter), dark brown, dark green, stuff like that. Along with black, those are the classic colors used in clothing for men.

Just my 2 cents though.
