You guys aren't playing fair... my point was that so many of the reshaped AM1's ended up having an issue with toe dents. Obviously we want perfect sleek toe retros, but even my Anniversary Reds are bittersweet when I look down and see the dents.

IDs (or "By You"s I guess they're called now) are currently done at one of Nike's factories in Vietnam, which IMO don't do a banger job to say the least. But that aside, one thing that REALLY baffles me on this newest round of IDs is that they've implemented the "OG" type materials - meaning, the "OG" knit mesh on the vamp, tricot on the quarter window and collar, and Nike's standard synthetic suede (commonly referred to as 'felt') for the rest of the upper. Except the tongue. For the tongue, they were like: "F*** it... let's just slap on the good ol' ID style knit mesh tongues" that they've done for many years. I'm not one to quickly jump on Nike for being sloppy with stuff, but this is pretty lazy and, yes, sloppy. Not dissing you guys' new IDs in anyway - all good. Just pointing out this odd choice of production/design element that made me do a double take. (I'm HYPER nerdy and particular, I know).

I really wish he'd wake up one day and want to flex bc I really would like to see what he has hidden that I've never seen. I had him add into his will that a certain F&F would be mailed to Florida in the event of his untimely death. My biggest wtf moment ever in sneakers was him sending me a pic of a recent double up he had. Not putting his business out there but I mean wtf. You probably know what I'm talking about.

In other news, I just got word on a fairly insane AM1 release coming in April, supposedly. Possibly as part of the annual AMD celebration period. Obviously not entirely sure if it's true or not (God knows I've heard so many rumors over the years, many of which were just that). This, however, did come from a person working at Nike, so I can't discredit it right off the bat. The word is... (drumroll) that Nike will be retroing the AM1 "Lemonade" from the 2006 Powerwall Pack (and according to the source at Nike, it looks spot on). Furthermore, Nike will also be releasing a "Pink Lemonade" version, which is basically a pink version of the "Lemonade" design (not to be confused with the Pink Powerwall model). Again, I've only heard this - I haven't seen any renders or proof of any kind. Don't kill the messenger if this is all smoke.

Don't play with my emotions man... Lemonades are a pair I've always wanted. So hard to come by in decent sizes (DS, or otherwise) I have the 90s but they're nowhere near the 1s imo. It's a real connoisseurs shoe that one. If true this is great news!!
