THE OFFICIAL AIR MAX 1 THREAD

Even though the winter has been a joke here in NYC, but who knows. I think it's gonna be snowing in June with how cray this winter has been.


Ready to break out my Milans. Still have them DS and one of nicest color combos I've come across. I'm a sucker for pink but that khaki suede with the accents and sole in that pink shade are perfect.

Really contemplating either keeping and rocking my clot NL or selling as I got them used with OG box and they are basically mint. But I think one of the most well thought out concepts and the colors and materials used are just too sick. With the no liner though my size 13, which is my size are def roomy. I just know if I let them go I'll never get a 13 or 12.5 in that condition without dropping a stack.

Sorry for random rant. Just been going thru my collection to pick pairs to let go. And digging in between two piles of like 250 plus pairs in each.

I know all the kix I own but just need to refresh my memory when I have not seen a pair in a lil bit.

I've gained recent interest in Milan's. Whats a good price for them lately, $300?
 
I would say yeah. Highest I have ever seen them was 400. But I would say depending on size. DS they hover around 275-350 these days.

I was super lucky and was on jd or some uk site, pretty sure jd.

Got there two size us 13 they had for like 280-300 shipped to states from uk. Sitting on two DS size 13.
 
Trying to do a Pendleton ID before its gets removed and have a question. Anyway to have a different eyelet color than the laces when creating them? Wont give me the option!
 
hippohead hippohead No sad to say choosing the lace color is the only way to switch up the eyelets color. I suggested to a friend choose the eyelet color you want and just lace swap when you get your actual pair.

Thanks! I wanted white eyelets with the brown pattern laces but it wasn't possible. I chose the brown pattern laces because they would be much tougher to find and will just paint the eyelets white if it bothers my that mach.

After seeing so many awesome Pendleton iD's I want to make some for myself, however, my problem however is the sizing, since the Pendletons won't be around for much longer I can't test and return them if they don't fit.

I wear a US 12/EUR 45.5 with two pairs of Asics GL3, a US 12/EUR 46 with a Nike Air Max 1 PRM.

I remember quite a while ago trying on some US 12/ EUR 46 Nike Air Max 1 Essentials and they were either too big or too small, I think they were too small.

Does anyone here happen to have a pair of GL3 and Pendleton iD's who can suggest me what to do? Thanks

More Bespokes....not sure what to think. Obviously they don't look bad. But why make Urawa's when you can buy the real pair for cheaper? Dwayne had a killer execution on his two pairs as they both came from the idea of Back to The Future which was an awesome idea - the obvious MAGs and then the white/red Nike Court  Majestic. The MAG/McFly color way is a little played out but they look pretty dope with that swoosh I must say.

white pair is waaaaaaaay too plain to pay a G-ball for. mag pair is pretty dope even though i wanna be like "too much for an inspired kick" and you're right...uwara's can be had for less

i recently copped a pair of pendletons.  in comparison to essentials, theyre roomy.  i cant say they run big, but its more like the wave of essentials, tapes, ultras, and moires are narrow.  pendletons seem to be boxier, kind of like the og fit back when i had my chilis and grunges (rip

my little collection of air max 1. love ultra moire, can wait to get some BW ultra moire.

I've read here that wool underlay, leather mudguard and wool lining (if I'm not mistaken) gives a really good shape, however I haven't really found any good ideas for myself with a wool underlay, are there other combinations that would work really well if anyone knows?

If you're thinking, wow, I feel like I've seen these before, it's probably because I took inspiration from some designs that are tagged with #nikeidcreatives and even sometimes just copying them lol. I'm not really great at this. I also really like the ones from bknowbles on here:

ive made one like the first but it emulated an OG colorway with denim.  changed the quarter to grey pendleton and the underlay to sail waxed canvas (to act as the mesh). 

@Maxamillion02  very much into those womens polka dots.
