Had zero expectations and Nike nailed it.

Going to unds last of my nbys from few years ago.
Swapped to white laces.
For some reason I was all into doing leather tongues on them. That was a mistake.

Felt / suede and mesh uppers are the way to go imo. Materials dont mix well. The all leather PRM and such are ok I think.
(Obligaratory comment. Nby has the worst laces ever)

Looks like the current NBY palette will be discontinued soon. I had a design in my cart, but, now, it’s unavailable :/

The only thing that made me hesitate was the leather mudguard. If it were nubuck/felt, I would’ve undoubtedly ordered it along with a lot more!

They really have lost the shape. 2016-2018 was just so good. And they just lost is completely. I blame the BB tbh. All of this slanted skinny mudguard stuff started there.

Is the 2017 Anniversary shape considered good compared to what's out now, etc.?

Toebox was decent, maybe, but I thought the heel hung over the outsole too much and was too small. It can be seen when people post on foot pics. (Not a problem contained to this model retro.)
But maybe it's still better than things since?
