knowing nike they'll bring them out but make them look like someone ran 100 miles in them and be like, "these were the original pairs runners wore when testing the shoes!" because "storytelling"

They could at least try and give 'em some cushioning. They were close to bricks.
And use better (thicker) felt.

This is why I haven't sold my DS 2017 pairs. Nike will probably do something dumb.

I never tried my chlorophylls on before I sold them. Can I Get away with going half size down?

I wear a 10.5 and for some reason those felt tighter than normal. I had to put in a stretcher for a couple of days to loosen up a bit. I wouldn’t recommend sizing down but could of just been my pair.

thanks! they definitely do feel tighter. I’m normally a 13 but bought a 12.5 because they were half the price and they run small. I can fit some 12.5s no problem but these are snug. I pulled the insoles out and I can make them work. I sold my 13 when I just sold my collection and never tried them on. This time around I’m wearing my shoes immediately because I had way too much many DS shoes that I just never got around to wearing.

Still have brand new obsidian and royal 2017 pairs. Super surprised i never worn them by now.

I assume those are backup pairs that stayed boxed up bc you were easy on your 1st pairs?

Nah brother lol, usually that would've been the case. But i only had 1 pair of each and just never really found the right time to bust them out.

I though most of ya'll still had your 2017s. Most of us are collectors with more than enough pairs for them to last. But then again, this is the AM1 thread so assuming ya'll ran through them?

Doubled on both have worn one of each color a handful of times per..
Have a set on ice, but I gotta wear the used pairs more, time flies so I need to give the new pairs some love for longevity purposes

Yeah between BB's and Anni's I'm set. I think BBs are more comfy though but I'm good with both. I only have Obsidian's in the 2017 version though >>

Toss up for me between 2017s and BBs (like them both for different aesthetics). Hate the laces on both.
I've destroyed the Anniversaries before the end of Covid so now I'm left with the red and royal BBs. Reds are close to done so will probably custom them into something
I don't think many in this thread cares, but BB Golfs are much better then previous versions, for both play and wearing on the way to the course - I usually change out of them after though (sweat smell dirty etc).

The 87 shape can't be beat. It's the GOAT AM1.
BB's are cool for what they are but 87's are a nearly perfect shoe.

Nike gonna switch up NBY AM1 options anytime soon? Kinda feels overdue. Not a fan of the leather overlays
