Not anymore bro. Originally from the bay, moved to L.A. in middle school graduated from Morse HS in SD, then moved back to L.A.Nipsey3000 are you in LA, bro? (just seeing your listing of teams in your signature)
By the way, these are not too bad in person. The other colorway of this "Have A Nike Day Pack" release is... well, you know... colorful. I like them, but probably not something I'd ever wear. These I could actually rock.
Okay. An AM1 in BRS90 colours I would 10000% get behind.lol Leetroy Jenkins
It would be dope if they did a brs inverse...87 in the 90 colorway & vice versa...next yr is the am90’s 30th anny
wishful thinking 100%
dope posts in here lately
loads of good info
Let me preface by saying I am not trying to argue by any means ha, I'm genuinely curious on why you think this and want to show just how nice some of the materials are.
Have you made a pair yet or been able to see all of the options? This is my mudguard and inside swoosh - you can’t tell me this isn’t soft/buttery...it's superrrr nappy lol
Here is my side panel (cord), my toebox/tongue (defensive mesh...different than OG mesh little bit more loose of a weave, I did OG mesh on first bespoke so I wanted to switch it up, reminds me of Urawa mesh) and then the mudguard is the reverse side of a swatch actually to give you a really nappy material.
Sorry for the late response I haven't been on here for a few days. No I haven't made a pair but I've held 4 different pair. I've seen the quality of the finished product first hand. Seeing them in person is the reason I haven't made a pair.
For context when I was younger I worked part time in a custom car upholstery shop. The shop did everything from tuner civics to vintage ferraris worth millions. The best stuff is still processed the way it was 100+ years ago. With natural oils, natural dyes, slow dried etc. Yes many Italian produces do it this way but also several other parts of Europe. Horween is an example of a company in the US. The stuff that went into the civics is processed with chemicals and fast dried. I'm not saying it's trash just when you have 2 hides side by side you can see the difference. It also makes a difference in durability and how it ages.
The shop sold the pieces of the high quality stuff that were left over. I believe nike is either not using high quality stuff or they are using someones leftover pieces. You could argue that since the nikes are made of a mix a materials and probably won't be worn all that frequently this is okay. Unlike a pair of bespoke dress shoes that are all one material and could be worn to the office several time a week. To me for the price I would want better. That and the fact they have more a factory produced finish than bespoke.
That just my opinion not an attempt to troll anyone as was suggested.
perso i like a lot bespoke AM1...
some bespoke i really like (the first is amazing imo, absolute love!), not mine (of course lol)
not nike (but nice!)
-> I was hoping to make a pair at London in the future, now it's dead
IMO it seems to be very good quality (for sneakers)
**** all y’all and your calls for a BRS retro. singledout frankwh1te
Let me stay in BRS owner club a little longer before the boost babies get their grubby mitts on them.

I’ve just been into IDs since 2006 and so the thought
of having that many materials and doing that much
to the shoe was like a dream and I really enjoyed my first trip back in 2015
Over priced? No.
