Kinda like the palette on these, but not the best example of the 2017 shape redesign here. But is not really a fair fight.
Grabbed these for the midsole obviously though. Gum is a bit darker but overall it's a decent match up for anyone in the same situation.

Yeah some of the new models have thick mudguard, but the toe looks really square.

The toe will get a little bit sleeker with some wear. As everyone's pointed out in this thread for the last two years the mudguard at the toe just doesn't come up over the toebox as much as it used to. I'm still very satisfied, was looking at my hufquakes vs restock OG reds and 2017 elephants the other day, all have a shape that looks good to me.
