i think that midsole/outsole/bubble color is a part of nike's am1 pinnacle shtick...

blacks came with black bubble and some wmns also had colored outsoles! In the end nike is saving costs while using up the whole sail stock!

i'm sure that 98% of the pinnacles using the same midsole/outsole combo isnt because nike wants to save cost. its just a design/style cue. just like alot of vans old skool's having a white vulc bottom.
