Literally he has the silhouette and then just folders of all the different patches of materials and the colors. I really botched mine at first haha got ahead of myself and wasted 2 hours on a piece of crap design, then went back to my original design...I was almost in there for 4 hours hahaha.

$1k is a lot, no doubt - so I just got rid of some jays and some other pairs worth decent amount that I could care less about. So I looked at it as trading 5-6 sub par pairs of a custom 1 of 1 AM1 that no one else in the world has. Plus the experience is awesome, you feel like you're just sitting at a table with Nike making your dream pair.1k is so much but I may make the leap of faith this summer

You can't tell just how insane the materials are on these with pictures. Maybe I will take a video today just for the hell of it to help everyone see just how nice they are. I wouldn't say it's just the experience - its just the whole package. The fact that you have 455 options to choose from, I think you can literally change over 60 some odd pieces of the shoe, plus its all the colors you could ever dream of. It's your chance to make that one pair of Air Max 1s that you always wish Nike would have made but they always, always manage to f*ck something up in nearly every release that makes you wish they would have tweaked this or that - its the one pair of its kind. Anyone can make your iD on nike's website, but no one can re-create your bespoke...
Thanks man! I went with simple and classic, wanted a pair I could wear with anything really - I would be pretty salty if Nike released these as a QS haha.
Exactly! Its your chance to finally make a pair exactly how you want them to be from top to bottom, you want 4 colors on your sole? Done. You want Two tone mud guard? Done. You want inside eyelets different color than the outside ones? Done. The possibilities are nearly endless (wasn't allowed to use the powerwall logo or have clear sole with big swoosh under it like on Air Max Jewel or on Air Max 1 Clots with the feet pics) but for the most part., whatever you wana do, you can do it.
Thanks man I appreciate it! Had to bring back everything I loved about the older pairs...not sure why anyone wouldn't want the piping on the tongue if given the chance but to each their own, its one of my favorite things about my pair, along with the double swoosh. Also have cork insoles on mine which were a nice touch.

While i do agree to an extent i think this would take away from the experience, the whole purpose of bespoke is to sit with the designer and look at all the fabrics and materials in hand.
