THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || MEH

He Just Doesn’t Look Good When He Runs.

Even When There’s A Hole He Just Looks Hobbled And Lacking Any Burst Running.

Yeah it’s not helpful. Especially when Tony went out.

There’s nothing to really keep the defense honest.

Can scheme on Lamb (he still will get his, but you can put more eggs in that basket to keep him from getting a game changing play. Just short catches that he can stretch a few more yards out of)
Gallup and Noah Brown stink.
TY isn’t too valuable anymore, but better than WR2 & 3.
The TEs are fine. But not anything you have to worry about either.
And all of a sudden after being a beast, our kicker forgot how to kick.

I hate the front office.

I Wonder If The Thing With Zeke Is It’s Just The Heavy Usage Early Caught Up.

I Don’t Expect Him To Be Sprinter Level Fast Like He Was In 2016/2017 As A 21/22 Year Old But Man He Just Looks Unhealthy On The Field.

And Yeah The Team Defense Aside Honestly Just Fell Apart. What Ever Happened To James Washington?

But These Are The Games Dak Needs To Win. He’s Paid Top Dollar To Be A Top QB And Manufacture Wins This Time Of Year When We Need It Most And He Again Faltered.

Kellen Moore is the problem
Every team with a halfway decent defense jumps our routes or hits the receiver as soon as they catch the ball

Moore has no motion and no creativity
His staple pass play is 4 wide and they all run button hooks
Its the same stuff Garrett did and that’s why we’re getting the same results

Shanahan will motion 3 different players before the snap just to run a dive play

Coaching Has Always Been An Issue But Jerry Isn’t Making Changes And I Don’t See Us Having A Dynamic Play Caller

Which Is Why I Always Suggest Improving Talent And Play On Field.

But Reality Here Is The Lost To A Good (Better) Team. Game Was Certainly Winnable But They Didn’t Make Enough Plays.

Zeke can't keep his weight down in season. He works out heavy in the off-season, comes in looking good then starts to gain weight and gets gassed about week 3 and it's all down hill from there:lol:

They gotta ban this sit on the back of the legs tackle
1674449928823.jpeg

No its just another bull💩 way these soft asss dudes on defense tackle to avoid real contact

There’s never a reason to sit on the back of someone’s legs and then pull their upper body backwards at the same time

Doesn’t matter who your quarterback is or how great your quarterback is

Until Jerry Jones gets rid of all remnants of Jason Garrett

The opposing coaching staff will always be confident they can stop our offense when they need a big stop

Last drive of the game on first down Kellen Moore runs the patented Jason Garrett “4 button hooks” and the linebacker jumps it and almost has a pick 6

They know all of Kellen Moore’s tendencies because they are exactly the same as Jason Garrett’s tendencies and Jason Garrett got his tendencies from the 70s and 80s coaches

So you haven't? Thanks for clarifying.
So you played and when you tackled someone you sat on the back of the ball carriers legs and pulled his upper body backwards in the opposite direction?

Pretty sure you didn’t have a problem with the horse collar tackle either right?

Relax ya'll. Let's just embrace the fact that Dak is NOT him.
We've been saying this, but this year really proved it.
Appreciate guys being optimistic, but realistically, we're never winning **** with him and it's time everyone faced the facts. Team played good enough to win yesterday, but our QB is holding us back.

Question for the group: Is Kellen Moore a better OC than Kyle Shanahan?

QB talk most times is the lowest level of sports discourse.

But it’s the NFL. When you don’t have the personnel as a team, your QB has very little impact. Great QB or good QB. If you say Dak is anything less than a good QB, there’s no reason to talk further about it.

3 of the top 5 All-Time QBs have a ton of playoff Meh-ness. Hell Peyton won a Super Bowl for 2016 out there looking like Chad Hutchinson.

Josh Allen is 4-4 now. Hasn’t even played terrible except yesterday.

Great teams win Super Bowls. At some point just saying, they suck at putting together playoff teams

The 49ers had better players at most of the positions.

Let’s just go over the first half drives by itself:
-Cowboys punt out of a 57 yard field goal (Maher was 9/11 on 50+ in the regular season) in the first quarter game at 0-0
-Dak got picked next time they had the ball on a horribly run route by Gallup, with a bad pass from Dak that Gallup didn’t even fight on. They only give up 3. Big deal, but not a game changer.
-Dallas scored to go up 6-3 on the drive after the pick. Maher gets blocked, and still would have missed if not blocked. Jimmy Johnson talked about it in the half time and said it wasn’t going to go in based on how it came off his foot. It would have been wide.
-Dallas gives up a long drive FG. No problem.
-Dak gets them into FG range 4th and 4 from the 35. Should have been a FG kick. But again, no kicker. Dak has a broken play, and scrambles for the first.
Next play, Dak completed to Pollard who gets injured. But it’s 2nd and 2. Why the **** do you not run it 2nd and 2. We run the ball on 1st and 10 almost every drive for 3 yards. You have 2nd and 2. You have 2, maybe 3 tries to get a first. And at that point could run down the clock on the half.
Because only 1 WR can catch the ball, that’s where he went and 49ers played spy on the short route, jumped in front of CeeDee, deflected INT.
Then Dallas let’s them drive and Gould hits a 50 yarder.

Half time was down 9-6.
When it probably should have been up 13-3. All because they didn’t have a kicker and that’s with 1 Dak pick that is whatever to Gallup and one that shouldn’t have happen (to CeeDee because you would have taken the kick earlier)

Dak had a bad game, so some of the blame rightfully should be on Dak. But at some point, the bigger problem and biggest portion of the problem is Dallas just doesn’t have the personnel offense, defense and coaching to ever win.

What I would do to get rid of Dak & this coaching staff

All of that is true, which is why I said this earlier. 7 seasons is enough evidence to know he’s not the guy. He still has value, but I’d move on. We keep doing the same thing over and over and it hasn’t worked. If Dak makes 1 or 2 throws yesterday, we probably win.
He missed 2 CeeDee throws that could have been game changing TDs. We had the ball with 3 minutes left to put together a game winning drive. We didn’t gain a yard :lol.

Yeah its basically regurgitated tv talk
The people on tv supposedly know what they are talking about so the general public is very confident repeating the dumb 💩 said on those shows

Jerry Jones thinks Jason Garrett is one of the smartest people he’s ever met
Jason Garrett gave Kellen Moore his stamp of approval
That stamp of approval had Jerry Jones ready to give Moore the head coaching job
I truly feel like Stephen Jones pushed Jerry to hire McCarthy so he wouldn’t hire Moore

Anything and anyone with ties to Garrett needs to be let go immediately
I wouldn’t be surprised if Kellen Moore is the only person from Garrett’s offensive staff still in the NFL
Garrett had MF’n Derek Dooley as our wide receivers coach

The problems in Dallas are way bigger than Dak but he’s best buddies with Moore and wont tell Jerry to replace him so Daks part of the problem too

I just watch Dan Orlovsky talk about the Dak missed read on TY Hilton.

And you’re watching it, Dan is talking about the 49ers bluff the blitz on the left with personnel and blitz comes from the right.

Then says how did Dak miss TY who is on the left when CeeDee had a LB on him, who had to cover ground to pick him up. WR1 on LB, don’t care if it’s Warner, that’s where you look.

But Dak empty backfield, Dak knowing the blitz is coming from the right side. Was instead supposed to be looking at TY Hilton on the left side where there was no blitz, when Cee was gonna have a LB on him downfield

CeeDee is the target on the play, in 2 seconds that a LB got to Dak untouched, Dak was supposed to read off Cee look the opposite way and throw a pass over the top to TY

It’s comical analysis.

Especially when Orlovsky says “how do you miss this.” Dan Orlovsky

And it was an actually really good throw by Dak that got around Warner and CeeDee was looking for it and hit off his hands.

Yeah because it was incomplete that supposedly makes it the wrong read when Cee Dee has a touchdown if Dak leads him a little more

Dak wasn’t great yesterday but neither was Kellen Moore

The offense completely died when Pollard got hurt and I’m still trying to figure out why Moore didn’t use Turpin to replace Pollard in the passing game

If the 49ers would have lost Mccaffrey I’m 100% positive Shanahan would have found a way to replace his production
