THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || MEH

I’ve largely accepted we aren’t a franchise that’s serious about winning at this point.

It’s an entertainment and money printing business.
It’s more annoying because it’s small moves we can make and they still won’t do it.

And then jerry gets on tv running his mouth with nonsense

I like the fact that they are focusing on playing fast

Unlike Garrett who didn't care anything about speed and kept wasting 2nd round picks every year drafting slow tight ends

This year's been a wash since free agency started.

They're going to win the division and get washed outta Round 1 again.
It’s the penalties that bother me. It’s like they led the league in penalties last year and came into camp this year and showed up even more undisciplined this year

Tyler Smith is going to make Connor Williams look like a tactician in this regard all year.

Connor Williams was holding because he was too weak to block

If Tyler Smith holds its going to be because he's trying to pancake the d lineman

Yeah he looks to be in good football shape
Hear his name called a lot and not for penalties but for making plays

Kick Tyler Smith out to tackle where he played in college and fill the guard spot with someone on the roster
This is unfortunately likely the only real solution.

Maybe they go sign Eric Fisher or Nate Solder for a year.
