THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || MEH

Zeke, Dez, and O line hears the sports heads discussing their decline ...I expect Zeke and the O line to redeem themselves against the Cardinals.

Not much faith with Dez being guarded by Peterson, but I have hope that his routes are much cleaner to open up some holes for Zeke.

I need to reiterate, Jaylon Smith is not a starting linebacker in the NFL ... He is a specialist at most ... It's painful to watch him play with that brace ... There's a reason why he's the first to ever play with one ... A complete liability

I actually don't think the narrative of our WRs is true I.e. "Dez isn't really good anymore" "TWill is awful" "Brice isn't more than a 3rd or 4th WR"

I honestly think the offense has too basic of route schemes, not enough variety / disguises and combinations. Each guy has 3 or 4 routes and we never really deviate from them. Witten has 1. And the only time the WRs shine or look good is when the plays break down and Dak scrambles and they get to improvise.

But even with that I wouldn't mind a deep threat to ease it for everybody.

I think Williams and Butler are better than we give credit but Dez on All 22 footage doesn’t separate from DBs.

When Dak extends the play the DBs are holding the WRs for 5 seconds longer. It’s almost impossible to guard someone that long.
