THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || MEH

Nothing bad to say...

Need to take the game vs. Texans... Then can take off the game against Seahawks for all I care... Then come back focused for those next 5 because that will decide whether we make the playoffs or not.
ALL of this

this defense has shock the hell out of me

BRUHS.... Some of these numbers/PFF rankings our boys are putting up.... :eek :eek :eek

DeMarco Murray has an NFL best 534 rushing yards this season. No other RB has reached 400 yet. The next closest player is L. Bell with 378.

The Cowboys are the only team in the NFL to have 3 linebackers record interceptions so far this season. Each Starter, McClain, Durant, Carter.

Guess what NFC team has the greatest point differential through four weeks? Yes, the Dallas Cowboys at plus-29.

Dan Bailey is 8-for-8 on FG's this season, but it's not like they've been chip shots. The average distance of his FG's has been 42.5 yards.

Tony Romo has nearly as many rushing yards the last two games as Lesean McCoy (34 to 39).

Pro Football Focus has Sterling Moore as their 3rd rated CB. Orlando Scandrick is 13th.

Rookie Zack Martin has @PFF's 6th highest pass blocking grade among OG's.

Tyron Smith is @PFF's 5th rated OT and 4th rated LT through the first 4 games of the season

Jason Witten has @PFF's 3rd best overall grade for TE's and has the highest run blocking grade among all TE's.

DeMarco Murray is @PFF's top rated RB. His run grade is 6.7. The next closest player is Marshawn Lynch with a grade of 3.9.

Tyrone Crawford is @PFF's 7th rated 4-3 DE and has the 5th highest pass rush rating among 4-3 DE's

Bruce Carter has @PFF's 4th highest pass rush rating and 6th highest coverage rating among all 4-3 OLB's.

Justin Durant has @PFF's 7th highest coverage rating, 2nd highest pass rush rating and 10th overall rating among 4-3 OLB's

Henry Melton is @PFF's highest rated pass rushing DT so far this season.

Rolando McClain is @PFF's 2nd rated ILB through the first 4 games of the season.

Dallas has the 7th fewest penalties in the NFL so far.

The Cowboys haven't gotten a ton of sacks so far this yr, but they are still @PFF's 3rd rated pass rushing defense through the first 4 games

The Cowboys defense has had 7 penalties called against them (3rd fewest in the NFL). Pittsburgh's D has the most with 24.

Justin Durant hasn't missed any tackles. Bruce Carter and Rolando McClain have only missed 1 each.

Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams have a combined ZERO drops so far this season. If it hits their hands, they're going to catch it

In 2012, the Cowboys had 26 runs of 10yds or more. In 2013, 39. This year - 22 in 4 games!

Demarco Murray had 87 rushing yards before contact and 62 after last night. Tough Oline and tough running.

dudes done in Dallas book it, they have a team option next year they won't pick that up

let him become someone else's problem

sucks, we could've gotten Janoris Jenkins or Michael Brockers AND Bobby Wagner

Faints fans at my job scared to breathe cause they know I'm lurkin :smokin
I'm sure one of them has pissed on his self cause he scared to go to the bathroom.

Bro if we thought it was bad when we were losing, imagine how much worse it's about to get.
As of 7:30pm yesterday the Faints were going to put 50 on us.
Now all these haters want to tell me the Faints weren't a good team.

I told a friend of mine from Detroit, that if he wants to keep bringing up the 49ers game I'm done talking football with him.
Kaepernick has 5+ turnovers this season, but some 49er fans want to tell me how Romo is a turnover machine.
That's just a sample of the idiocy we will hear as we climb the NFL ladder.

This is why I don't talk with people about football unless it's my brother, you guys, or I'm giving my friends who are chiefs fans s***. Most of the people who comment are ESPN queens and couldn't breakdown why a team is good/bad to save their lives.

They usually put a safety back there.
Same for the kickoff team.
You need someone back there with speed and knows how to tackle.

Same people who clown on Romo who has been consistent for a long time..

Foles and Cousins are our best friends.
They love throwing unnecessary picks.
We will put 28+ on the Feagles and the Yellowskins.

Just heard dez mic'd up.

I thought it was pretty cool that he told demarco his feelings were hurt that he requested Dwayne Harris block for him...and dez took that as a challenge nd said "im a show demarco I can do it".

Just a testament to how he's gladly doing all the little things, and how he's team first all the time, even on a night where he doesn't eat. That's maturity and coaching.

On another note.
Does anybody else think Crawford found a position on the inside? Was disruptive and good against the run..even hit Bree's and got a swat..
