THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || MEH

You know I've been his biggest supporter in here thru thick and thin but yesterday outside of that INT it was all bad. Naturally, I'm going to ride with him going forward but through all these years I think the issue is he can't do any one thing really good, he's just average or below at everything across the board.
I think Claiborne and Patrick Peterson both benefited from playing against extremely overrated quarterbacks, in an extremely overrated conference.
Which in turn led to both of them being slightly overrated.
you couldn't be more wrong. Peterson and MO are not even close to the same player right now LOL

he was cut because he had a ridiculous dumb penalty, then showed up the head coach in an interview after the game

he's dumb and wreckless

If he had any discipline and wasn't such a moron he would be a good safety in the league though, I give you that

Shoutout to Hitchens, I trashed that guy, he's decent actually
I heard he was late to a meeting, which led to him missing a preseason game. He might have showed up late to another preseason game too, I forgot. Also, heard might have been kinda hard to coach. They could not trust him. Plus he just could not cover. I would have liked to keep him for special teams purposes.

How did you get that from what I posted?
I didn't mention anything about them being the same player or having the same ability.
You must be related to Patrick Peterson.

So apparently Mo walked out of the team facility and left practice today when he learned he lost the starting job to Scandrick......

Get this bamma all the way out of here

Hopefully this lights a fire under his *** and plays better.

I called him a bust out loud when he walked out of ATT stadium after the niner's game. No regrets.

Do you guys play a lot of man? Press coverage? I believe he was pretty solid under Rob Ryan, no?

I don't keep up with the Cowboys at all, what type of defense do you guys run?

He was solid all right.
A solid fixture on the injured reserve report.
He was hurt when we drafted him.

Scandrick over Claiborne?
Did I miss something?
O was horrible and weak.
Mo isn't elite but I think he's far better than O.

If that info is true then he will still be on the field playing on the outside in nickel coverage with Scandrick playing the slot. Base defense Scandrick takes his spot but how much do the Saints have less than 3 receivers on the field. How much should that news have mattered to him. Just go play.

that too, he was late and was sat for the game

Ryan ran a 3-4 with press man to man, which our corners were designed for, Mo was not that bad in that system his first year as a rookie

now we play a Tampa 2 4-3, but we have to run more zone because we don't have a natural pass rusher to make the system work

We mix in a lot of man and zone now, the zone is progressing we are still learning how to play zone properly learning the depths and coverage responsibilty so you will see a lot of holes in that and guys confused on what to do

So they completely decided to ignore the fact that our highly successful running game will allow us to control the clock.
Therefore keeping their beloved Drew Brees on the sideline watching that wack Saints defense get annihilated!

Unfortunately, right now, our zone is a complete joke

I like when we play man to man more but at the same time, on 3rd down I cringe because our LB's move too slow laterally and lack the instincts to understand where the 3rd down marker is and how to use it to their advantage... I truly wish we would go back to the 3-4 press man.

I hope the Moe-C news turns out to be a non-issue but god bless he looked like complete garbage this past weekend, I worry about him in the nickel on the run because he can't tackle for sh** and that is one thing I do like about Lil O... his willingness to tackle in the open field and blitz effectively from the edge.
