THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || MEH

I'm either a Cowboy fan or won't be a fan of any team and just enjoy the games as a whole

I just want to WIN period is that too much to ask?

saw 9ers play this weekend and I'm feeling pretty good
This is part of the reason why it makes no sense to me when people come at Cowboys fans that aren't from Dallas.

The Dallas home fans fans are terrible, blame it on ticket prices, whatever, but even when they are there filling up the stadium if OD quite. Come to a Cowboys/******** game here in Maryland and you'd be amazed at how much noise the Cowboys fans bring, or heck, think back to the game against San Fran a few years back.... Or really any game we play away.....

No offense to yall fans in Dallas.... But y'all disgust me

I went to that game and that game was PACKED with Cowboys fans, we definitely took over Candlestick, this niner takeover wasn't that deep, not saying this bc I'm a fan either.

was there as well that game was epic!!!!!

I've been to a few games at the old Texas Stadium, & the new AT&T Stadium.
We had a lot more pride back then, hard to believe 'cause we were actually a bit worse.
After three back to back 8-8 season, there's not a lot to cheer for.
Honestly when I go if and when they make plays: catches, TD's, int, fumble recoveries, turnovers, etcs we get a little rowdy that's about it though.
Everyone knows the NFL is a what have you done for me lately league, & the 'Boys haven't produced.
It's a big kick-back spot, when I'm there I feel like I'm more at home than at an actual stadium 'cause of the big screen smh...
I still love watching them, buying the jerseys 'cause that's the home team & I grew up 10 minutes away from Texas Stadium.
They want a louder crowd?
Will give all their fans a reason to shout for them.

It was horrible in that place has been every time I've made the trip (every year besides 2012)

Seattle wins games, we don't. The stadium was stupid packed with Dallas fans when it first opened but we kept losing. After a while you gotta back up that "America's Team" title.

I was there twice in 2009 and the raider game on thanksgiving was close to 50/50

look Romo was good for us for a long time, but I think that time has come, he's really starting to decline and Dallas made the SAME mistake they made with Aikman, invested far too much money into an aging QB and never brought in a young talented QB to groom under him, big mistake waiting to happen here

As for Cowboys Stadium, its awesome, but agreed no home field advantage. I heard some fans there will tell people to sit down and not be loud, idk if that is true but heard that from a few people that went there that some of the fans are real snobs.

On thanksgiving 09 some lady told my wife twice to sit down I couldn't believe it

Dallas fans are way better away from home... And it's not a small sample size either I've been to Arizona, Huston, San Francisco, Oakland, and Atlanta all much better than at "home"

^^Made a trip to SF when Bledsoe was still starting QB. Cowboys won and the 49er players were claiming that the cowboys fan were to loud and they couldn't hear.....

That week was one of the best for me since they played here two weeks in a row even losing against the raiders I wasn't mad

Just expect the worst and laugh at our mistakes. Nothing should surprise you anymore at this point
laugh.gif
I lowered my expectations and mental investment in the team so I don't really get mad anymore because I know they are just not that good of a football team. When I did think they were good I used to get so mad, but now I know this team is pretty bad so on Sunday I just laughed or sat there silent. LOL sad but true, i've become numb

See I have heard this a lot from fans I've talked to. I have heard people tell them to sit down or be quiet. Quite unreal, if a fellow Cowboy fan told me that a game I may punch them in the face. Honestly I dislike a lot of Cowboys fans, they are so arrogant living off the past, it's the present, be somewhat biased on other teams too. Like these Cowboys fans talk so much **** about Chip Kelly, I would KILL to have a coach like that.

I wish someone would try tell me to sit down :lol

One game but R McLain was the second highest rated ILB behind Luke K on PFF.

Right now it's still the cool thing to do in Dallas in a few years I believe real fans will come

I wouldn't mind Kelly if only for his conditioning program but I don't see his scheme working long term and if he can't adapt he'll be gone

The "real" fans are in the party pass sections, not in the seats.
The seats are filled with older Cowboys fans that don't like the stadium or its owner, but they are die hard fans from the 70s and 80s.
So going to the game for them is a tradition.

I'm currently living down in Memphis and there are so many cowboys fans here, like folks with cars painted with cowboy logos, it's crazy.

How did you come up with this conclusion? Me and every other season ticket holder in my section are "real" fans so I'm confused by your statement. You sound like a hater to me.....

Cowboys fans are everywhere in all honesty. There's a lot in New York too.

Which is insufferable with Giants fans.

They made fun of Romo on Sunday, but Monday night they were quiet as a mouse.

:rollin This boy called me a hater :rollin
Why are you taking it personal?
I had a lady tell me several times last game I attended, "there's people behind you."
In other words, "sit yo black *** down!"
That's what I mean when I say the real fans aren't in the seats.
Try that crap somewhere like Arrowhead Stadium and you probably getting escorted out the stadium.

People in Missouri don't give a damn about Dallas :lol I stayed getting roasted

All of this.

I've been boycotting AT&T for Cowboys games since day 1.

I went to a couple games a year back during the Texas Stadium days as a extra young n!gga... there was so much passion and crazy things that went down every time you went. It didn't matter who the opponent was or what the score was, 90% of the fans were locked in every play. I had front row seats to the Browns game back when Kellen Winslow was in his rookie year. We ended up winning but the Browns scored a garbage time TD and tried to kick an onside kick, we recovered it... sealing the game up but Winslow got hurt on the play. These two Cowboys fans were going at his neck while he was getting put on the cart, screaming at the top of their lungs "I THOUGHT YOU WERE A F'N SOLIDER?!?!?!?, YOU OVERRATED PIECE OF SH**!!!" He was definitely bothered and gave dudes the finger as he was pulling off
laugh.gif
This was the 3rd game of the year and dude had tore his ACL

Women flashing folks at the tailgate, as a middle-schooler it was

Point is, the games used to be an all day event with everyone's mindset being the same, Go Cowboys-Kill The Opposition-Have Fun Like It's A Frat Party. Now people go and watch like it's their quiet living room with the passiveness of a preseason game.

You didn't say anything about people standing up at their seats, you said real fans are in the party pass section which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I guess anyone who's a "real" Cowboys fan has to stand up all day or they're just "fake" fans.
