THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || 3-6 Next Game 11/18 vs. Texans Monday Night Football

Seattle is legit at home, but that was Week 2 of the season and no one had a clue they would be as good as they are now.

I can't agree with the Chiefs playing hard at home. The Chiefs have won a grand total of 4 games at home over the last two season, 5 if you include last week.

Offensive line will be a problem if someone gets hurt because we have no depth. I can't put all my eggs in the Waters basket just yet.

I hope your vision is right with 11-5/10-6 8o

Trust me I know the feeling of wanting to be optimistic and getting let down each time.
But one things for sure, Garrett may not be the best head coach, but he's no dummy.
It's put up or shut up and his predecessor is on that coaching staff.
If Garrett doesn't pan out I could see Marinelli being interim until the end of the year.
Somethings telling me Garrett will step up to the challenge and get us at least to the playoffs.

I agree with that.

Now that I've gotten all my negative thoughts off my chest after a loss, let's go get this win on Sunday fellas :smokin

Time to smash the Rams and keep first in the division.
Demarco averaged 4.1yds a carry last year.
Hopefully he can get on track this week.

Chiefs taking care of the Eagles. This is why I wasn't losing all hope because we lost by one point on the road. Kansas City is a good team. And we're clearly the best team in the the NFC East

I agree wholeheartedly about the inconsistency, lazy mentality, weak Oline, lack of identity, playcalling, so on and so forth.....but its WEEK 2. All that stuff is in the past granted they look like the same ol team going against a decent KC team. They are healthier than last year at this point, give them time to solidify. I like Waters personality for this team and when he gets back into the flow of playing pro football he is going to definitely help this team. Its EARLY, some team will be 4-0 and not make the playoffs and some team will be 0-3/1-3 and sneak in or take it to the wire. Playcalling aside Garrett has the franchise going in the right direction and has them looking better for the future every year that goes by. Im on the fence whether he should lose his job if we dont make the playoffs. I aint even gonna repeat myself about continuity. Anyway it'll be another interesting game this week against STL. Im still waiting for them to show me somethin too, but im still ridin! Go Cowboys!

Man there is a decent chance you are right, it was just funny to me.

Cowboys winning the division by default.

The Dline has recorded five sacks, 23 quarterback pressures, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an interception :smokin

Line is going to be even better once Spencer is 100%

Tried to tell people Rod Marinelli was going to work his magic. One of the best position coaches in the NFL

It's going to suck when Jerry let's him walk :{

This season might be similar to the 2009 season where we start off slow (2-2) and make strides going forward. The Chiefs defense is legit, and they are VERY well disciplined.

That play that was designed for Avery but setup like a screen, where the 3 WR's are actually blockers? Dallas could NEVER in a MILLION YEARS pull off a play like that. That play the Chiefs ran several times really stood out to me in regards to how disciplined Andy Reid has that team. So much respect for Andy and so glad he's out of the NFC East. He owned us from 1998-2012. :lol

Dez's back is becoming an issue...he hasn't practiced in two days (just rehab work). I'd much rather his ankle be injured than back. Dez is physical and will be limited if this persists.

So Hatcher called the team out
Said he's tired of the mediocrity. Finally, you'd think Ware or Romo would be the one doing this. But at least someone is stepping up in that role.

I'm gonna be upset if we don't resign Hatch

good for him, if I was on this team I probably would've been cut because I'd be constantly bugging out like that

too bad he wasnt like 26-28, I think hes 31 and a free agent at the end of the year, little old

:lol hell no!

He signed a 3year 6 mill deal with a 2.5 mil signing bonus in 2011 if I'm not mistaken

Re-signing him to a 2 year deal in the same price range would be great.

Team just confirmed Wilcox will start. Makes sense. Why play a garbage struggling vet over a talented rookie, let Wilcox gain experience.

:lol well it's been the same story for how many years now? Beat a good team, come back the next week and flop against a team we should beat. How many times have we CLEARLY beat ourselves with mental mistakes and turnovers? Same ol' ****, just a different day.

Seattle was an up and coming team last year and play like rabid pit bulls at home (ask the Saints and 49ers).
Chiefs play hard at home and have been marked as a possible playoff contender.
We lost Sean Lee after the Seattle game last year. We lost no one after the KC game.
Offensive line wont be a problem this year with the addition of a 6 time pro bowler.
I see 11-5/10-6.

you're not talking about the o-line being fine because you signed brian waters, are you? you know he's been out of the NFL right?
