THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || 3-6 Next Game 11/18 vs. Texans Monday Night Football

My apologies for showing up to the party late, didn't know we had a thread. Hope my fellow Cowboys Nation can excuse my tardiness :lol

With that being said, spoke to the homie Cruz over the holiday, told him it doesn't matter if he's healthy or not, Claiborne/Carr will be putting the clamps on him Sunday night :smokin

Like a few have mentioned, if our O-Line/D-Line can hold it down and avoid injuries, run the ball more, force a couple turnovers, we could be looking at 11-5. Discipline is also a key, mental mistakes and stupid penalties have been killing us for years as well. I really like the direction this is going in under Garrett, I think we finally make some noice this year!

:lol Dez is from country, out in the middle of nowhere Lufkin...

Yall want to be politically correct about where an orphaned kid grew up?
If your from an impoverished black neighborhood it's typically referred to as inner city.

Lufkin isnt inner-city by any definition of the word.

Rough up-bringing and home life... Absolutely. He's overcome a lot. But he's not an inner-city kid.

He's definitely not from the suburbs.
Regardless of where he's from, he has a chance to be offensive player of the year in the NFC.

I don't care where Dez is from, what obstacles he overcame, how rough his child hood was, etc .. ALL I care about is him dominating every week, being focused, and staying healthy.

100

Y'all see D Thomas last night? If someone gives Dez a run for his money (statistically) it'll be him, not AJ or Julio. Peyton trying to toss 40+ tds this year .

Anyways what's everyone's prediction for Sunday night? I got 33-20 Dallas

It's always hard to predict how the scoring will go against the MIDGETS, but I'm thinking 27-17 Dallas.

I expect our D to show up big time and if we can run the ball, control the clock we should be fine. If it turns into Romo chuckin' the ball 45+ times then the game will come down to a FG as usual.

Where he's from is what makes him a great football player.
East Texas produces elite athletes.
Lot of great football minds in that region that are able to recognize raw talent.

I actually googled it and dante hall and jermichael finley are both from that town

Im concerned about our D-line this week. Ratliff and Bass are out and Spencer hasnt practiced in forever.

Gotta stop the run and get a pass rush

The Midgets won't be able to contain Ware, IF Hatcher, Selvie, and Hayden can hold it down we'll be alright.

How's Wilber doing? Haven't heard much about him lately ..

Linebackers will support the run so we will be Ok.
Ware will be in straight kill mode by mid season and he will have a December to remember.

Kyle Wilber did not play well in the last preseason game against the Texans. He could not set the edge or get off his blocks. If he does not look good with the reps he gets against the Giants then I could see his roster spot being in jeoparady if a position somewhere else is needed, but, he is a special teams guy so if he plays decent with the reps he is given then he could keep hope alive.

I've been extremely disappointed in Wilber. He should have really stepped up with all these Dline injuries.

We definitely need to go line men (Offensive and Defensive) in some order 1-3 next draft. We're good on skill position players. I'd only deviate from that if a stud Safety was available. And even that is debatable because I believe in Wilcox in Church.

Time to really work on the trenches.

Man its something in the water out there.

25hrs until we start smashing the punk a** Giants.
No worries at all about our ability to win tomorrow night in AT&T Stadium!
Won't be no salsa dancin in Texas Sunday night.
I got Cruz with 3 drops and baby Peyton with 2 picks and a lost fumble.
27-15 Cowboys

:smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin Start of a new, season guys. Ready to see Dez continue to uphold the #88 mantle

It's amazing that we have Dez on our team.
When he was in college I didn't think twice about him being around for us to draft.
But thanks NCAA for suspending him and causing a top 10 all time receiver to drop to 24th in the first round :smokin

So many teams passed on Dez that could really use him now. Jerry took a chance after passing on Moss and its payed off. Of course no one will give him credit for taking Dez tho.

I can't wait til the game tonight.:Nthat  I've been following the NFL for quite some time now, but I could never pick a team. I'm finally going to declare the Cowboys my team.

Great choice my man. This team has a lot of young talent. You're going to have alot of people hating on you but just know that they're only jealous.
