^ Who are you referring to?
This team has pretty much become a more expensive, .500 version of the Raiders. Sure we have a few better players but all that is good for is a few more wins. You can change coaches, change coordinators, etc. but in the end, we're still not even close to getting it right.
At some point, you gotta realize the light isn't gonna turn on for the majority of these players and the coaches aren't really enforcing anything or helping them along.
I agree about Cutler I'm like come on but I guess Spencer is better than we thought. Also not having Church is going to mess us up but the TO's last night really killed things. We had a chance to win that game without all them happening.I'm really still heated on how we conducted ourselves on MNF, everyone was gassing us up, and actually thinking we could win this game....
I was happy on how we didn't get that much Penalties, but turnovers thats a diff story.. We made cutler look like a god out there. CUTLER!
Red and has infamous "three phrases needs improvement response""We know we have a long way to go. We know we have to play better in all three phases,"
I'm die hard fan but realistically at the beginning of the season looked at our schedule and squad saw we would more than likely be 8-8 or 9-7. The sky isn't falling there is time but if you been riding with the Boys then you know how the fans (or fair weather fans or hypetrain riders) are. Don't let that get to you.Gotta love the "sky is falling" posts especially from these other non Cowboys fans on this board. Its interesting that the Cowboys are amongst the many teams who are 2-2 but somehow OUR season is over. The Broncos, and Patriots are 2-2. Is there season over? There's still 12 games left to play. We started 2-2 in 2009 also. We went on to go 11-5 including beating the undefeated Saints that year. All the clamoring about how we are frauds and how people get so excited when the Cowboys lose will make it that much sweeter when we do shock the world and finally hoist that 6th lombardi.
We do have issues, just like every team. No team is perfect. We got stronger on defense and weaker on oline. We also added a new o-line coach with new players that takes time to gel. Lets save the 'sky is falling' posts for week 10 not week 4.
I also love the fact that no one is in the media is talking about Dez and Miles staying back on Valley Ranch getting extra work in this weekend while the rest of the team is enjoying a vacation outside of the area.
I just HOPE having Spencer and Ratliff back can help us get more turnovers. I've already gotten comfortable with knowing our offense is gonna give the ball up at some point during every game, but if our defense can create some TOs it wouldn't seem so bad
