Calvin Johnson was catching passes from the worst QBs in the league in his first three seasons.
Since Matt Stafford has been healthy there hasn't been a WR in NFL history to post the numbers Calvin Johnson has.
Dez Bryant in his career won't have a year like Calvin's 2011 let alone his 2012.
Dez is a monster but he simply isn't close to the physical specimen Calvin Johnson is.

The fastest 40 time Dez has clocked post college is 4.52 and his vertical was 38 inches. He measured at 6'2 inches and 225
Calvin ran a 4.35 at the combine with a 43 inch vertical and measured in at 6'5 239

cornerback can keep up by themselves. And you're really splitting hairs. 40 times aren't in pads and ~ 0.2s of a second probably measures
finishing less than a yard faster. Although, game of inches; I know. And for being 3 inches shorter and 5 inches less v. 8 inch jump difference is pretty significant if that's how that work. I know you have to take into account their wingspans. Dez's could be longer than he is tall, etc . But even with all that just like aint nobody outjumping Calvin no one is outjumping Dez.

i think dez this season will have the hunger & motivation to put up great #'s (just like he did in the 2nd half of last season, even while playing with his injured finger), mix that in with his skill set & ability that he's already proved & he'll have a very high ranking when looking at the top receivers in the league.

I don't think people know how much he can improve, at the very least numbers wise. Dez only had 9 targets in the first quarter, around 450 yards and 2 td's the first half of the season and was 15th in targets and not even first on his team, yet he was still 6th in yards and 2nd in TD's for the season. All of those happenings will improve almost by default. He's going to be a fantasy monster.

It's a Dallas Official thread, not an NFL discussion thread. we're not thrashing other teams/players.
We all clearly admitted Calvin is the best WR in The L. Never took away anything from Calvin, Dez is becoming an elite WR and his name could be said in the same sentence with CJ, Fitz, Dre, Roddy, Dez is easily becoming a top 5 WR.
If Dez has another stellar season easily a top 3.
CJ is the only weapon on that offense, and creates magic week in and week out. I feel bad for him doing all the work, dude needs weapons.
Really wish Dez was signed by Nike rather than Jordan, Cause looking at that CJ81 gear,
. Would of been nice with a Dex 'X-Factor' Sig Line.

I'm currently stationed in Japan, and NFL games air here at 2 am and 5 am. But I work the graveyards so I can be able to watch them without losing sleep.

While I don't think Dez seein Calvin but Witt, Miles, and Dez is just as good a top 3 receiving corp as any in the league tho.
