What sucks about Robinson going to the Colts was that he was ranked 30th among DBs by PFF.
Of people left:
Brandon Boykin is ranked 23rd
Leon Hall is ranked 24th
Charles Tillman is ranked 54th.
Maybe 1 year for Tillman... 2 years for Leon Hall if you want to go cheap.. Boykin could be a 3-4 year deal, a bit more expensive.
Scandrick - Boykin - Carr - Claiborne would be a much improved secondary.. Even if you hate Carr & Claiborne, as 3 & 4 DBs for a season, they have a talent advantage over other teams 3 & 4 DBs.
If you go cheap with Scandrick - Hall or Tillman - Carr - Claiborne....
You can ride it out for a year, then completely revamp our DBs for 2017.
Also one final note.... Nick Fairley was ranked 24th among DTs... Seems like that should be another name that we jump on.
1. Boykin, Hall or Tillman
2. Fairley
3. Get Carr to take a paycut, and push that money we save, to over the next few years, and still cut him after the year.
3. Re-sign either Crawford or Hayden.... Crawford has more versatility, so I'd probably choose him.
4. You guys won't like this, but if we get to within a week of the NFL Draft and there still isn't a deal for him... I'd entertain Greg Hardy on another 1 year prove yourself deal. Jerry Jones said he's leaving the door open. If you do it around the draft, you kind of limit the initial damage control.

on whether or not Cowboys want DE Greg Hardy back: "We still want to leave that open.''
I'm fine if we don't go Hardy, but think we could get a steal deal for him, and do it right before the draft, so that the media backlash is limited.
But if you can swing those 3 deals, we legitimately have only 1 positional need on defense (Free Safety), without Hardy it is (DE & FS) and it frees us up come draft day to not be too concerned about what position we're drafting..
Sure, BPA is something you should always consider, but when you're a team with a closing window, and many different positional holes, BPA ends up out the window, and I don't think that's necessarily wrong.
My approach to the draft is wherever you pick, you take the Best Player Available among all of your positions of needs. UNLESS there is a guy who is a free falling draft stock, and you can get a steal.
