THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || 3-5 Next Game 11/10 vs. Eagles

Have to keep DeMarco as well.. And not lose Leary & Free.
Can't keep everyone

Dez and lbs gotta stay
Other than that, gotta be cap friendly deals. Yup, not even gonna break the bank for dm.

This line would be plenty good enough for a duke Johnson, t Coleman, tj yeldon who all should be around in 2/3 round

Go make Harris an offer
Jpp too

We just need to get healthy at linebacker.
That's what hurt us today.
Our inability to blitz from the linebacker position was our ultimate down fall.
Couldn't get pressure on second and third down when we needed it.

Considering Marinelli's record versus the Packers, good riddance.
If you can't beat a one legged Rodgers that doesn't have Eddie Lacy to hand off to, we don't need you.

This. That's why I'm not that upset about the overturned call and losing the game. They just didn't play good enough

Good year cowboys fan....[emoji]128077[/emoji] not upset about the loss...didn't even expect them to make the po at the beginning of the year...
Keep dez priority over dmarco...fix the defense..not being able to get a stop and get pressure in the 2nd half killed us ....

we lost to a better team today it is what it is ....

Now I know the pain you all are feeling.

I still have concerns about the play calling.
Green Bay had no answer for our running game but Linehan and Romo kept calling pass plays.
On that Murray fumble, if that's Dunbar or Sticky Fingers they would have hit that hole lightning fast and would have been untouched all the way to the end zone.
Not knocking Murray but today wasn't the day to start fumbling again.

Defensively we need to get rid of Barry Church and Sterling Moore.
McClain might have to go too. Dude has way too much drama in his life.
We're just getting Dez on the right track. Can't rehabilitate everybody.

We need Lee to restructure his contract. Making too much and has not played enough over the last few years. I think we'll be stuck with Carr again too. Wouldnt free up enough money if we got rid of him.

D-line and DB in the first few rounds of the draft.

Not counting on a single thing from Claiborne next year. Time to let Harris go too, dude isnt the same returner he was years ago.

Hell of a ride this year. Hell of a run

I still think that's a catch...

Me too. Its just a mess with the referees contradicting each other. Like when Josh Cribbs caught the punt and dropped the ball when he went to the ground. That is a possession, but Dez Bryant isn't?

People keep calling it the Calvin Johnson rule but that was a bad call too and shouldn't have been reversed because it wasn't indisputable, just as this one shouldn't have been reversed.

Bad rule, bad call, bad refs.

First thing first. Wonderful season and the future is brighter than its been in a long time.

Just a few things I took away from this post season.
Our All-Pro rookie right guard took a whoopin in his first two playoff games.
Suh manhandled him last week, and Peppers abused him on that play Murray fumbled.

We played like a completely different team offensively in the two playoff games.

What was up with the squib kicks and short kick offs yesterday?
What happened to our kicker that couldn't miss?

McCarthy and Capers knew the tendencies of Linehan and Marinelli, and called their bluff in the fourth quarter.
We altered our identity and it cost us a chance to go back to Seattle to play for the NFC championship.

I'm honestly tired of hearing about the refs, the flag from the lions game, and the catch from yesterday. Football is 60 min and we didn't execute enough to be up at the end of that 60 min. Time to get better.

Expectations are already thru the roof for this team next year ...as they should.

Great post. Well said.

Say what you will about Linehan but he gave Tony his best season ever and actually ran the ball

Rolando can go I'll take Hitchens and carter/Durant whoever is cheaper (if health and heart return I'll take him but nobody can make that guarantee but him)

I think free comes back he won't be expensive coming off ankle surgery but given his age they should start looking for a replacement soon

I'd take Yeldon/Gurley if Murray is to expensive

Wonder what gets a Spencer deal done for a year or two

Hope Carr takes a paycut, maybe Morris shows out in a contract year (doubt it)

Ideal draft includes help in the pass rush a corner a left guard to replace leary after next year (bad knee keeps me from wanting him long term) and some special teams players late

Figure out if Vaughn has any potential to learn behind Tony

Adrian Peterson?

Would love to get jpp but won't hold my breath

Not sure what to think about d coordinator who's out there?

Great season guys hope we make it to the big one next year if so all yall can stay at my place before the game

va757va va757va as disappointing as yesterday was, when you consider we were playing with rookies all over the place on defense AND didn't have our entire starting lineup at linebacker, they balled out yesterday.

Dez and Romo went for the gusto on 4th and 2 like str8 Gs :smokin
If that ball is two yards further upfield it's a touchdown.

Imagine this offense after a full offseason together :smokin

Dang man, just watched Dez flying on them boys again and that was a catch :smokin

Garrett put this team together, ain't no way in hell we let him walk.

I do want a legit DC though, hopefully we don't take the inexperienced route.
