I think this ad goes against NT rules so are you going to ban yourself Meth?
This is the first and only report I've received of an ad like that appearing on the site since our move to Huddler nearly two years ago.  Without anything further to go on, it's difficult to say that it was even served by our site as opposed to a virus, another tab, etc.

Nonetheless, I'll have ad ops investigate immediately.

In the future, anyone who comes across an ad that cannot be posted on our forums should report it to us via email: support (at) niketalk.com

I've never gotten an ad like that, don't expose yourself.

The adds have been a lot better on my ipad. Not even using mobile.

It's true; ads are often generated based on a user's browsing history.  So, it's not surprising that two users' ad experiences will be very different.  I've never seen a pornographic ad on the site, but, then, that could merely speak to the differences in our respective browsing patterns.

I'm glad the ads have improved for you.  They just switched over to new ad servers last week.  Some optimization will still be done, but we're hopeful that the worst of it is now over.

Personal experience, I am on android (note 3) and I get redirected to the play store for zynga games constantly. Has nothing to do with my browsing history, as I don't play games or search for games. I continuously have to hit back back to get to the nt page again, for it to only happen a few more times.. and as I'm typing this I realize there's an add now that I'm sure would be considered inappropriate. I'm not am older man nor am I browsing dating or porn sites. Peep the screen shot

I get re-directed right to my Google play app for games as well... Then I back out, and the page I was loading closes... I have this issue for the LG volt and Samsung Galaxy tab 3 7.0...

Same here. Extremely annoying... Haven't had any inappropriate ads popup or anything. But the random redirects to the Play Store get out of hand sometimes on mobile.

I'm frustrated and disappointed to find that this is still a problem today.

Last week, I met with the ad ops team and discussed this exact issue.  First, ALL ads for casual gaming were blocked to try and prevent these from appearing in the rotation.  When that failed to control the problem, the whole mobpartner network was allegedly blocked.  These were costly steps - but necessary to uphold our standards.

There must have been some flaw in the implementation of the mobpartner ban.  This is unacceptable.  Thanks to your reports, I have brought this to Huddler's attention and it's been submitted for immediate escalation to ad ops.

I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience while the issue is addressed.

Yep, got one of those mobypartner redirects when I was browsing on my nexus 4 (android) this morning.

Thanks Meth

Of course.  We're dedicated to delivering the best possible experience to our fellow members.

We've made our standards clear to the Huddler team and they work very hard to ensure that those standards are met.  Pop up ads are NEVER acceptable.  Auto-playing audio is NEVER acceptable.  If you see one, it is NOT because we've "sold out."

An ad that prompts users to block all advertising - and, by extension, our means of paying for the basic costs of keeping NikeTalk online - is obviously not something we ever want.

Unfortunately, many ad networks rely on automation, which can allow abusive ads to slip through.  We're then placed in a reactive position.

If you see something like this two weeks in a row, 99% of the time it's not the same  problem.  It looks the same, but it's a different instance of a problem that we've already addressed elsewhere.  (On another network, in another category, etc.)  These are very challenging problems to solve, but we're committed to doing so.

I have the ability to turn the ads off on my account and on staff accounts.  We don't do so, because we want everyone to have the same experience and we want to be able to monitor the quality of advertising served by our partners.

So, if you see something like this, please know that it's not something that we're doing "to" you to try and make money.  We would never deliberately ruin our own experience, let alone yours.  We would never deliberately run an ad that would lead people to BLOCK all ads.  That makes no sense whatsoever.

We are HIGHLY motivated to eliminate these types of abuses ASAP.  When you report them by sharing screen shots and links, you're helping us do so - and I greatly appreciate it.

Had the redirect to app store twice today...but I'm glad you guys are looking for a fix. Only happens in mobile

I just got redirected from this week's ntwt thread... Into the play store for the app below... When I backed out, it closed my tab... It was also the only tab open... I'm LG volt with virgin Mobile...
