Feel like DDP is the biggest winner after this weekend in the division after Izzy. I never thought he would be next up for title shot and he might be after not having to fight anyone in the top 5. A lot of people talking about him having next today

I also have a tough time arguing with Matt Brown. Izzy is probably the best fighter of this generation. Unfortunately, Volk hasn’t been as busy. But Jon, GSP, DJ, Anderson…then?

Khabib is already in the top 5 imo

The next tier imo:

Fedor, aldo, usman, Cormier, stipe maybe conor and max

Cejudo is kind of there too

Khabib is a weird one. I’d probably put him at the top of the second tier, very bottom of the first due to how his career was short. Five LW defenses I’d say for sure. All he would’ve had to do was beat Charles and Chandler.

Cejudo? He’s a weird one too. That retirement was a mistake. Three years off when he could’ve been fighting Aldo, Yan, etc. But he’s got claim to beating one of the GOATs (even though you could argue DJ won that fight), prime TJ, less washed Dominic Cruz and is a former two-division champion. Definitely somewhere in the lower end of that second tier.

Forgot about Aldo. You could argue he’s in the first tier, short GOAT list.
