I'm still shocked Francis pulled out a damn scissor sweep in the 5th round... Wtf lol. Francis still putting his game together is a scary thing. He really has to dig deep this fight.

Fighting on a blown knee is crazy as hell man. You can tell from the first bell he wasn't explosive at all. Not one blitzing combination. Really hope he doesn't lose any of it after surgery.

I know Francis did what he had to in order to secure the win. And seeing his evolution is cool, grappling to come back was a very interesting plot twist. I respect the game plan.

But in terms of the fight as a spectacle, this was a bit disappointing. Wish there could have been some more big action standing up from 2 fighters who are their most entertaining on their feet.

Props to Francis for fighting on a torn MCL and adding a new wrinkle to his game. If he improves his GNP and maybe his “busy” kick game, he’ll be unbeatable. Dana sour. So unprofessional. Francis should get his surgery. Sit out the remainder of the year. Gane will get another interim title maybe against Jon. Sets up Jon vs Stipe.

Also, props to Figgy for also adding to his game as well. The Takedowns and the semi Henry stance were good additions. He wasn’t as aggressive as in the past. I actually had Moreno winning the fight.
