Jorge constantly being a proponent against the awakening we're experiencing is a lot worse to me

Obviously if Conor really raped women it changes for him

Cowboy is MAGA

The others.. ehhhhhhh

I mean, I get it, **** trump.

But this guy grew up fighting people in backyards.
idk I'm not gonna die on that hill trying to excuse Jorge in any manner. That's just me

It also has nothing to do with "expecting these guys to be decent people"

I just expect anyone, fighter or not, to not take the side against what we're trying to move towards in this country

Isn't he also a Miami Cuban? I'm sure his upbringing also has a lot to do with it.

I'm not saying it's excusable, he's a piece of ****, but I mean, I don't expect him to be a model citizen.

Again, not going to use anything to excuse him. Everyone knows he's Cuban and in Miami

I never said I want him to be a model citizen either

I lived in Miami. What exactly are the political leanings of a Cuban? Especially one whose father went to jail and scrapped in the yard?

At least folks call him out on his ish and fact check.

I don’t care about the mans politics. It’s about time he fought again.

Seems like most cubans are very republican and anti-democrats who have ideas that can be seen as socialist.

I had no idea about the topic until Dan Lebatard explained it on his show one day.

illegal streamers gettin theyre door kicked in ?

Dana really thinks he can bluff to scare away every single streamer by making all of them think they could be the one the “cops” are watching and listening lol.

and even if he wasn’t bluffing he just blew his cover.

also if you already have been watching and listening on this one person long enough to have factual proof he’s streaming, then he’d already have been caught and stopped lol.

unless you are the one uploading and broadcasting, i think it's like a slap in the wrist/misdemeanor for watchiing

UFC could make a lot more money if they weren’t so greedy.

Charge people a subscription like Netflix.

$30 max

Put on at least 1 decent card a month.

UFC seems like they're content with the ESPN deal. It's structured where they get guaranteed built in money from ESPN so long as they put on a show every week or so I believe with a set amount of PPV's. I'm pretty positive they're just making a killing

technically idk what it is for watching. But realistically, nothing will happen to anyone for watching a stream.

100% of the focus is the provider not the viewer. Especially because the providers are making money off of copyrighted material.

instead of spending time and resources on reaching for air trying to stop the streaming. Not just the UFC but all the other leagues too, should spend more time on giving the viewers a better experience so we choose them over free ****** streams. Like It’s literally impossible for me to watch the Bucks right now while living in Milwaukee without cable.

if they’d allow me to watch UFC, NFL, NBA ect. games with ease and convenience at a fair price I’d gladly pay them over watching a crap stream for free. But that’s not the case. Currently it’s a nightmare to watch what you want and they’re forcing their customers to go stream for free.

So until then Dana, Goodell, Silver ect. can all **** off.

quick maths

UFC ESPN deal is 5 years 1.5 billion.

300Mil a year.

If UFC charged $30 a month a million subscribers would be $360Mil a year.

Netflix has 193 million subscribers worldwide.

If Dana could get even 1% of that he’d be looking at $720mil a year.

Yeah, nothing is happening to the people watching. The people hosting and streaming it for people to watch are the people who would be in the most trouble.

The only thing is does ESPN have any say in that? There's the whole ESPN+ thing that's tied into accessing PPV's to begin with

yeah I don’t know the specifics of the ESPN deal but I would assume the UFC is locked into and at the will of ESPN for this kind of stuff. Which probably doesn’t bode well changes like these that would be favorable for the the customers.
