Recently read that if the corner stops the fight, the fighter loses half their purse. Makes it a lot harder to stop a fight.

That can't be an athletic commission rule. Are you saying that's a UFC policy? If that was true that'd be ******* pathetic, making corners choose between their fighters health and a check. I can't see that being a real thing.

Read it off of Ariel's twitter. Didn't mention whether it was a commission thing, but I highly doubt it.

Been thinking a lot about the Cerrone-Masvidal fight. Wonder if corners would be more inclined to end fights if full purse was guaranteed...
