Brawldonado was bound to get caught. Dude is reckless and overly trusts in his once granite chin that Glover and others with power have eroded.Bruh that Stipe/Maldonado fight shouldnt have happened.

I watched Maldonado happily entice Beltran while standing against the cage with his hands down, when he could have cruised to easy decision or even late-KO with a smarter strategy.

I read about that earlier. ufc wants to set up the rematch but he wants to fight cormier instead. So lame.

People acting like Jones is picking Keith Jardine for his next opponent or some ****... DC is undefeated and I don't think hes even lost a round yet, right? Plus he just made Hendo look like an amateur wrestler, tossed him from one side of the cage to the other until the ref had enough.
Gus pushed Jones to the very end of that fight but he did lose, and his only fights vs top competition are vs Jones and Shogun.
Maybe DC and Gus should just settle it on their own.

I would say yes, it is ducking. Gus clearly deserves it. DC clearly is up there too but even he said it a million times that Gus deserves a shot first.

It is because the media is well-aware of how sore a subject Gus is for "Bones." Gustafsson is a figurative nightmare for Jon Jones after the first fight, war. In Jones' heart, he was likely wishing for a surprise Manuwa KO. Even if "Bones" is cleared to fight Cormier next, Alex Gus is still waiting in-line. Fans won't be satisfied without a rematch. "Bones" needs the rematch and to win convincingly to further his growing legacy. He shouldn't be fearful the way he performed in Baltimore against a very heavy-handed Glover.

Anyway, Jones might be in for an equally tough challenge with DC. Either way, I'm happy with DC or Gus fighting next. But everyone knows Gus is clearly the #1 contender.

I think Gus would seek a finish in the rematch, based on the outcome of his first fight with Jones. Could be storybook for Sweden or disastrous depending how "Bones" chooses strategy.

That ESPN MMA show was horrendous. Franklin McNeil didn't belong on TV. Always on at 3 AM on a Tuesday, too.
UFC Tonight is just state run television. They aren't going to say anything outside the party line on there. You do get breaking news, but no real commentary or opinion.

Someone commented that they just hire ufc fighters to work on the fox shows, and I was like damn they're right. They have a few other people too but the only journalists I see are helwani and the woman rampage kept dry humping. I wish Molly Qerim was still covering mma.

Like many of his lighter-weight brethren, Karakhanyan has taken offense to McGregor’s brash ways and doesn’t think the 25-year-old Dublin native’s hype matches his resume.
“As far as that Irish kid, he sucks. He hasn’t fought anybody ... and he’s calling out all these guys,” Karakhanyan said during an appearance on the Sherdog Radio Network’s “Beatdown” show. “I feel like he’s disrespecting a lot of fighters. Honestly, if I see him on the street, I’ll *****slap him. That’s the reality. Hopefully if I get the opportunity to fight him, I’ll *****slap him in the fight too.”
