seems they created another thread in jordan forum to talk about the doc
when only thing talked about in jordan forum
should be the shoes

The Jordan Forum is for discussion of Jordan brand not just shoes.
although I see what your saying I really don’t have an issue with that thread being made. I mean it is about Jordan, without him there’d be no Jordan forum.

Actually nawghtyhare nawghtyhare , there was another Jordan documentary thread created 1 year after this thread was first created in 2018

- Created Dec. 2019

At this point, there is no end to how many "The Last Dance" threads there are on this site

You can thank that troll Barry McCockiner (burry - my cock - in her.... 🙄), and Nick Wright etc. The whole from twitter to ESPN/FS1 pipeline has really lowered the conversation in sports to unbearable. Like this started as a troll account....then became a real thing. Same thing with the “MJ is 1-9 with PIppen” stupidity. Disingenuous trolling that got amplified to the height of conversation...and people actually believing it.

Not to mention the watering down of the term, “GOAT”....and how it went from sports/urban lingo to mainstream catchall for greatness in every genre.

I heard an interviewer ask someone who are the “GOATS of Trap music...RIGHT NOW”. That doesn’t even make sense :lol. People really don’t even know what they be saying.

Just a quick reminder: please do not discuss any leaked episodes of this series. It's not that we're concerned about spoilers regarding a basketball season that ended nearly twenty-two years ago, but any discussion of leaked episodes involves media piracy and copyright violations. If you're requesting or offering links to illegal copies of copyrighted media, you will be banned from the site.

We've also had some issues with people staying on topic. To that end:

There's a distinction to be made between posts that you may not personally like and posts that are wholly unrelated to the discussion topic.

If a user posts content you don't like, you can use the "ignore" feature to hide all of their current and future posts.
If a tangent completely unrelated to the topic has begun to derail the thread, you're encouraged to use the report feature to bring it to the attention of our moderation team.

For example:

Posts about LeBron James' reaction to Daryl Morey's support for protesters in Hong Kong are completely unrelated to a documentary series about the 1997-1998 Chicago Bulls.
The Detroit Pistons plan to feature into the next episode. I don't want to see a two page detour about whether Bill Laimbeer's "Basketbrawl" was better than Charles Barkley's "Shut Up and Jam." Such posts will be removed.

We will not, however, accede to the complaints of those who claim this thread's participants "shouldn't make it about race," when racism was explicitly included as part of the documentary (e.g. while covering MJ's childhood.)
It should not be the responsibility of our moderation team - or anyone - to protect the comfort of those so unjustly privileged as to remain oblivious to the presence or influence of racism in a given situation.

It comes across as both vulgar and supremely tone deaf to say, in effect, "reading about your oppression is ruining my good time."
Rest assured that it is far less inconvenient to bear occasional witness to a mere discussion of racism than to be a target of racism. Check your privilege.

I hope everyone continues to enjoy the series! I know I will.

this x a million! When did we transition into calling any and everything the GOAT. Just had the best the biscuits and gravy...they were the GOAT. Not only is the phrase becoming corny but, like you said it is watering down the meaning of it.

This definitely doesn't need to be 10 episodes.

Hearing them breakdown Scottie's situation and his whole family was interesting.

Comedy watching MJ and Scottie bully that punk *** GM. Fool had his ego and lost his mind. Bulls would have won a few more if he didn't **** that up.

MJ going off to "I'm Bad" was the highlight of the night for me. Classic song.

Crazy telling a coach that just won a couple Finals this is his last season, even if he wins all 82 games. What a ****in moron. I wouldn't have any respect for him either.

Y'all really gotta knock off the MJ vs LeBron ****. Two different eras, two different players.

How can you say it doesn't deserve to be 10 episodes before the 10 episodes?

And it's not like you have anything else to do

I will just leave this convo here. I also get annoyed with how that word is used.

It has morphed into celebrating anyone that was very good or better.

This was with one of my players.
