Pete is 1 slip away from croaking. Dude is too old in my opinion for the long run. You’ll need to release him in a couple years (even if all goes well)

I heard on a podcast today that if they get Pete they may be able to land Saleh as DC because they have history together. I still think he ends up with the Niners - but if Pete is a short term answer he could be behind Pete in terms of a successor.

I guess we are taking the coach before GM approach again. These young coaches calling their shots and wanting full control makes sense. Guess it doesn't really matter there's no sure fire front office guys out there anyways

I hope man. That’s the only we can do. He’s invested even more because he’s a part owner. He’s not just a GM or football operations that can get fired and be out of a job. I mean he can get fired, but he’s still owner. The better the team does the higher his pocket gets with valuation of the team.

I’m taking it all with a grain of salt. There have been other HOF players who can’t do **** in the front office and they’ve sucked (Jordan, Jeter, elway). So hopefully he proves us wrong.
