griffey special on MLB tonight was great

never realized the extent of how severe his injuries were and the amount of games he missed. maybe i blocked it out

my all time favorite athlete ever. was pretty rare to have an idol who was also lefty. plus the reason i use Jr on all my documents. (legally a junior)

when i get a chance i’m gonna go to my parents house and find those zoom griffey’s i know i have them somewhere. i had the all black with red plate someone mentioned earlier

it’s kinda wild to see how he went from the most confident charismatic athlete you’ve ever seen to very humble shy and out of the spotlight. i see nothing wrong with it at all but seeing him when i was growing up you would have expected him to be more like a deion when he was older.

Junior played "the game" off the field better than Barry Bonds. Barry Bonds could have been the Michael Jordan of baseball being that he played in a bigger market from 1993-2007, but Barry Bonds stayed true to himself and I don't knock him for that. He did everything you would want your star player to do on field (be in shape regardless of how you get there), whereas Junior Griffey didn't and his body soon fell apart in Cincinnati.

sorry it took a while but i promised a member i would post my black and red zoom griffey’s i jd as a kid. so happy i found these even though they’re 2 sizes too small. given the age and the fact i wore them as a kid (no caution) i think they’re in pretty decent shape lol

This MLB Documentary was so fire! I'm a Yankee fan, but Griffey was so damn special in the 90's! I felt like a pre-teen again remembering every highlight like I was watching it Live!

Griffey has mentioned the Jackie shoe in other interviews too. If it's a Dodger themed Griffey Max 1, then just take my damn money. A new Griffey model would be dope though. Thinking about how Nike/Jordan Brand is dropping the ball by not making a sig for Mookie too.
