We have a deal with the NFL to play a "home" game there every year. Brings in a ton of exclusive revenue for the franchise so makes perfect business sense.

Obviously stats don't tell the whole story and I assume you know better than me on the subject.. but I saw something the other day that he gets kinda overrated when you look at the actual numbers and what guys did after him (considering he's looked at as a QB guy)

His time with the team showed me he knew how to coach our current QB better then anyone we've had before.
I dismiss his time with the Raiders because they did him no favors as an organization.
I would of been ok with him taking the reins and letting Marvin move into personal.
I think the only reason it didn't happen is because Mike Brown wouldn't guarantee it.
