I don't think mariota has mentioned it at all... I'm just alluding to the oak CB grades, and how matching up with tajae sharpe/rishard matthews can likely skew those numbers some.

How did oakland use Karl Joseph? He sure racked up hella tackles, watching him in the preseason he wasn't striking me as someone who was always around the ball

Oh I know didn't mean it that way.

I thought Karl Joseph was excellent considering it was essentially his NFL debut, first ever snaps on D. He led us in tackles on the day, hit double digits. Didnt have much to do in coverage but was always around the ball and had some great effort plays. No noticeable mistakes. Looked like the exact same player he was in college.

Funny enough I was rewatching the game and there were THREE separate plays where Derrick Henry had an opportunity to finish runs 1v1 head up with Karl Joseph on the sideline and instead elected to run out of bounds. Keep in mjnd Henry was certainly dishing out punishment all day, seemed to make a business decision when he encountered Karl and all 5'8 of his 195lbs frame.

I wonder if he personally remembers Karl from that '14 meeting with WVU. Looked up the game log and Karl had something crazy like 18 tackles. :lol

A lot of Jones' yardage was on broken plays.

Does PFF take that into account?

Damn Watt might be out for the year...

My friend is definitely dropping their defense

Sources: #Texans star DL JJ Watt has re-injured his back and is expected to be out for an extended period of time. Could be the season.

damn

My man Watt. :{

He should go ahead and sit the season. Texans ain't going nowhere and you can't mess around with your back.

I knew Watt wasn't healthy from jump but of course he wasn't going to say anything.

That sucks man.

For as corny as he is, you cannot deny his greatness on the field and we were finally going to get him and Clowney for a whole season with a "passable" offense.

Damn that really sucks for Houston :x,at least they were able to get used to his absence during the last game
