damn I didn't realize the Raiders D was last in the league with 476 YPG

I don't know what a55a5in11 a55a5in11 remembers but if people were crazy overhyping the defense here, it wasn't Raider fans.

Oakland, Th3Real, Raider5, HNL, zube, myself, we were pretty consistent all off season in acknowledging that being good on paper didn't mean ****. We were pretty firmly in the prove it camp, just in case there's any revisionist history going on.

However safe to say I don't think any of us expected to be last in Defense at any point this season.

D trending up though we were on the verge of panic mode for a second there. :lol

**** out of here. Y'all couldn't stop hyping up your team all off-season. Everytime i called You off-season champs y'all got so hurt. Y'all really thought a bunch of linebackers with no pass coverage skill would lead you to a superbowl

:lol You're full of ****. Pull up quotes then. Not gonna entertain your BS on this topic without them.

You're straight up lying, or have faulty memory. Either way your full of **** until you prove otherwise.

YOU really think you were more aware of our issues in coverage, specifically at the LB position than we were? :rollin

Of course there was optimism and excitement, but again the general attitude was prove it.

I'm on mobile. Why dont you pull of quotes? Prove my wrong

Are people really boycotting over kaep? :lol

Never underestimate the pettiness and stupidity of racist whites especially in the Bible Belt.

Yep. I'm not sure if it's been posted already, but there's some restaurant in Virginia than has a Kaep jersey duct taped to the floor as a doormat for when people walk in. They should put that energy to use for something actually beneficial

Thats not how it works fool. You make **** up, the onus isn't on me to prove you wrong. What are you thinking. :lol

Hope they buy more jerseys to burn and **** so they inadvertently give money to the cause, idiots. :lol

& you right they should put their energy behind something but they're worthless so this is what we get.

expected people to be cheering the injury?

In here? Yea. I did.

I can only recall 2 instances where someone did that

Didn't a couple people wish injury on a player this last week?
Cats in here constantly waiting on downfall and some even injury.

But it's a shock to some that I question how fast people flip flop on players and such. I expect people to talk. I've called quite a few out on NT for wishing injury on players, constantly saying it's not that serious. I'm the weirdo though...

Yea a lot of people have legit wish injuries on players in both the NBA and NFL thread, especially the NFL thread. It ain't never that serious. Hell, I totally loathe Kobe but have never wished for him to tear his ACL or anything, but there very well have been injury wishing on Curry, Durant, Harden, Kobe, Lebron, and various others, and not jokes at all

But what about Clowney?

He's actually been playing well besides the last game, where no one played well other than Benardrick McKinney

I'm saying. :lol

That **** is totally backwards, son ain't even think that over.

If you're on a computer it should be really easy to find quotes of me saying exactly what I just said

:lol exactly

Although there's probably someone else going through old quotes right now (got me kinda worried there's a lot of us here 8o)

But for real though. There was a very consciouus attempt among us not to give in to the hype and excitement.

A bunch of :hat :hat :hat emoji's in the offseason does not = Raider fans irrationally hyped up. Especially when there was a lot of actual rational discussion going on about our strengths and weaknesses and realistic expectations for the team.

So this dude Edelman had his weekly conference call with the media earlier this morning...

Rex Ryan was on the call trolling and posing as a reporter.

Dude asked Edelman if he was the starting QB this week.

LONG LIVE THE RYANS
I thought Rex made a Gran Torino reference. Thought I heard Walt Kowalski (Clint's character) but Rex said Walt Patalksi

If anybody hyped up the Raiders D, it was definitely me.

& I don't care, I'm still riding with them and the whole squad, like I said it's only been 3 games.

Overreactions abound, remember the Falcons were 3-0 last year to start, we seen how that ended.

I mean raiders are still 2-1.. I think they'll be better when they get a better head coach

remember when we had sean McDermott in for an interview, the talk was ken Dorsey would go with him and be the OC.. obviously if you're the raiders you want someone who can work well with carr and the offensive guys

Definitley agree on it being early. I said going into the Titans game that long term I think the Defense and specifically Sean Smith will be fine.

Sean Smith had a pretty awesome game Sunday after being very bad the first two

Raiders will be fine IMO

when we were doing predictions in the raiders thread no one really said anything outlandish. the general consensus was winning record/competing for the division with outside shot at playoffs. well some kind of mix of that.

this dude a55a5in11 a55a5in11 favorite thing to do on here is call other posters hurt. :rolleyes

Glad JJ Watt is sitting out. He was rushed to come back. I work in healthcare and have treated patients with spinal/back problems. Dude gotta take it easy. Period

Henry and Murray did more to the Raiders defense than the Titan receiving group. It was easy pickens for Sean Smith to be honest.
