The Flash (CW Series) thread, season 9

She realized he was a lame with a weak stroke game. Time to go home and find Earth-2 Wally. Just going on the pattern he must not be a beta boy.
Jesse apparently went to [emoji]127758[/emoji]3, which I seemingly forgot existed, to replace Jay as The Flash.

Which then begs the question, if a Flash is needed on all these different [emoji]127758[/emoji]s, who's protecting Jesse's [emoji]127758[/emoji]2?

I was wondering this too, I guess her dad :rolleyes

This is the title of episode 19, "The Once and Future Flash". I got it from Wikipedia, I check their source and a senior writer from Entertainment Weekly tweeted it...actually she tweeted it today.

I googled the titled of the episode, turns out it's also a title of a one of the comics. I don't know if it spoils anything but read at your own risk. It's interesting regardless

This and arrow have lost my interest this season. Stopped at episode 10 for both. Too much filler and unnecessary stuff.

The Flash To Face A Very Different Type Of Villain In Season 4

The Flash has had one huge thing in common with all of the main villains through the show’s first three seasons. Zoom, Reverse Flash, and Savitar have all been speedsters, able to keep up and go toe-to-toe with Barry Allen.

But the showrunner says the fourth season will feature a unique Big Bad that won’t have super speed in common with the Flash’s previous foes.

Speaking at PaleyFest with cast and crew of the CW’s various superhero shoes, Andrew Kreisberg revealed one key aspect of the Flash’s fourth season:

“Next season we’re not going to have a speedster,” he said.

That doesn’t mean there won’t be any Speed Force-possessed villains on the show, just that the main big bad won’t have that in common with the Flash.

But that’s next year, and Team Flash still has to get through this season. That’s building up to the inevitable, inescapable, and potentially fatal confrontation with Savitar.

The latest supervillain to haunt Barry and Co. has been shown to kill Iris West in the future despite their many machinations to prevent the event. All the while, the mysterious speedster’s identity has remained a mystery.

“With Savitar, we know who he is under there,” Kreisberg said. “We've been planning this for a while and we're really excited about it.”

The showrunner elaborated that the Flash’s first two seasons celebrated special abilities and what they mean, while this third year is focusing on the downside of powers.

“That's the story we wanted to tell and that's why our version of Savitar is the perfect villain for that story.”

They added that upcoming villain Abra Kadabra is a good foil for the season, as he’s from the future and claims to know Savitar’s identity. But he’ll only reveal the information if he’s released, after he’s captured earlier on.

“Iris and Barry have a great scene, 'Can you be a hero if you do one bad thing?’”

The Flash’s crossover with Supergirl, “Duet” airs this Tuesday.

:rollin I stopped reading at cosmic treadmill.

There's a reason I could never get in to the Flash comic.

I hate musicals and this reminds me why I do but this **** is hilarious to me for some reason.

Just like when Stein sang in LoT something is a bit off about vocals syncing up with the acting of the performances. I caught it with the song with Cisco and the Music Meister and that other guy.

I'm just laughing @ Barry feeling off Joe and Stein singing.

Its pretty clear the entire ep is just something to work out the drama love plots in each show.

Once again though this wasn't a crossover. The Supergirl ep had nothing to do with this. It was about Hercules and Lois Lane being the parent's of Mon-El.

Honestly if I wasn't already committed it's the type of ep that would make me not seriously tune back in to the Flash.

Right.

Worst episode yet; I'm just not into musicals in the least bit. I really got distracted or tuned the show out every time they started singing & I wasn't feeling the music meister. A lot of this season's just been hit and miss, so much obvious filler.

On a serious note, the vague idea of the Music Meister was bull ****.

Comatoses Kara, then Barry just so they can remember the lesson of love? Can't make him Mr. Mxy cuz he already showed up so they just don't explain how he knows who everybody is and has these powers and then he just disappears.

Barry and Karas reactions to being in the musical world was funny enough to see the episode I think.

I will definitely see this episode by no later than Thurs...

Music plus Kara bae is good enough to sell me

By far the worst episode of the entire SERIES

So you're telling me Larry could have sang the panties off of Iris this entire time but never did :{

But now....man how this show has fallen.

Anyone know if those were actually Barry's and Kara's singing voices? Seems like those are pro singers and them just lipsyncing to it

Edit: Nevermind, just found out its their real voices.
