If Ball turns out to be as good as OJ Mayo in the NBA would that be a failure or a success in your guys' opinion?
He reminds me a lot of Mayo in terms of high school hype, pac-12/10 area. 1-and-done. Mayo was a much better scorer but I just remember mayo being heralded as the second coming of Christ in high school and coming to USC was like if bron chose to go to duke or something, how that school would have been hyped that's how it was out here. Then in the L he was nice but not the second coming of Christ.
All that being said, if Lonzo or any Ball panned out to be just as good as OJ mayo, I think that could be considered wildly successful. I ain't talking about his dad's expectations, we all know what those are
