** The Diadora Thread ** - Concepts "Rat Pack" N9000

i get what you mean^ i live in greece, bad economy here as well in general..however, people laugh at people wearing diadoras here..the only acceptable sneaker is nike air max 97 and some converse all stars..oh and recently they have started wearing some jordans. it does not have to do with the economic situation..it is just that they don't know what to wear and they buy only a few sneakers..eg..when jordan 1 royals released, they were sitting for over a month at a local store..i got a second pair of jordan 1 breds from a store in march..:P

anyway, this collaboration is dope, i am happy i see the usual people here and no new users..gives hope for the online release :P

I wasn't trying to offend you or Spanish sneaker lovers, so sorry man if you took it as that. I was just saying that I know the culture isn't big like in other parts of the world. It is growing, though! You and the folks at 24k are doing a great job of growing the sneaker culture in Spain.
no man sorry maybe i sound rude vut i understand what you mean here we are all working on it ;) but its true that people uses nb 574 converse and maybe airmax 90.. we need to evolve a little bit haha.

I think he meant no new people as in people popping up right before the release date. Most of the people posting about the sol's have been since the teaser pics came out. But as for new to the diadora thread as a whole then yes there are tons of new people. Me included. Haha.

Barcelona is probably one of the top three cities in Europe when it comes to buying sneakers. They have 24KTS, Sivasdescalzo, LimitedEditions and Oqium plus that relatively new NB flagship store. I would argue that only London and Berlin can compete with that, maybe Paris, which I don't know that well.

I do agree with you about the Spanish scene though. There seem to be quite a few enthusiasts, which also shows in the numebr of awesome stores they have, but the scene is not as big as in the UK, Scandinavia or Germany (and obviously not even close to the US). I kind of like that because this way, I can usually find some releases that are long gone over here whenever I'm in BCN.

Anyway, I think it's nice that Diadora sticks to its roots and lets some of the great European boutiques do collabs first before KITH, Concepts and other US stores get their shot. The latter will probably bring them bigger sales but IMO the whole runner craze was a Euro thing first and the US scene used to prefer other styles until recently.

so those diadora n9000 run TTS?gonna jump on the bandwagon lol.

I got a US10/UK9.5 in my Saturday Specials and they fit fine. Half a size smaller probably might have fit as well. I'm a US10 in most Nikes and a US9.5 in most NB.

Hope that helps.

I go TTS in Diadora's mate, i got a uk7.5 once and it was bit gappy. So i would recommend TTS imo

To be honest I go half size down for a snug a fit. I find going tts you have a bit room.

Love it when Hanon gets stuck for slow delivery etc... Do you know how small the shop actually is and how little staff they have? They do a great job all things considered. They've also had numerous flash sales and will have no doubt received thousands of orders recently. They'll be swamped.

Are they gonna give us an online release time for 24K or are we supposed to just guess? Or maybe they did already and I missed it? They're gonna lower the value so customs shouldn't be an issue according to customer service.

I have doubts that these are 250 pairs - the Italias and Hanon transit were way more. Production numbers have been up for the past collabs. See this :
it'll be 250 pairs for them and there will be more for the worldwide release which seems in keeping with the other collabs

No i dont think any diadora n9000 collabs have been much more than 250-300 pairs.
