Don't get me wrong, these two are the best one-two punch thus far. When I look at this side by side shot, I do get what you mean - colors flow extremely well in the transit ii's. But I am a sucker for burgundy and strongly disagree that the colors clash, yea the two dominating color palettes are more contrasting in the saturday special - but that doesn't mean they don't work incredibly well together!
Wrong. Wrong. So incredibly wrong. Now, I know I'm likely going to get flamed for this, but I really don't see what it is about the SS that has everyone so drunk on the kool-aid. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad shoe by any means, but I can't see why it's so revered. Someone in the know, please school me. Dope materials, quality craftsmanship, and respect for Hanon as a collaborator aside, what makes the SS so appealing? Nostalgia? It certainly can't be the aesthetic because, IMO that burgundy/oxblood is terribly out of place. Clash-tastic even. Transit is so much smoother and coherent, all things considered. For my taste, the Espresso Ristretto is still the best N9000 for appearance sake.
And both absolutely kick *** in terms of craftmanship.
(side note: the person on the right better be a woman)
