The Combat Jack Show Thread

haven't heard the recent episode but usually when I want a more music focused episodes it's cause their jokes just not hittin' right

I like their music convos. It's just that oftentimes they go on deep discussions about music that I simply don't care about. Like the "Deep Dives" on Khaleds wack album, or the 40 minute discussions about Jhene Aiko and Big Sean. It's just **** that I don't really care about.

I hadn't heard of the drowning.

That story is wild. There were hundreds of people there.

RIP to him, he had just completed his freshman year at Georgia Southern. Terrible way to go out.

Why does Joe always have pools and can't swim? Mal needs to give him some lessons or he needs to make sure the whole thing is 4 or 5 feet.

Joe nem got they facts wrong again tho :smh:

Dude didn’t get thrown in the pool, that’s why nobody noticed until he had already been drowning for 30 mins.

It was a packed party with a bunch of people and you know how black pool parties be, a lot of _’s don’t even get in the pool

Seriously tho, what speed reader be giving them these stories? :smh:

Lord Jamar is older than Joe and still has a better research game on his show.

Yeah, I went through several articles trying to find out where it said he was thrown in.

So Joe is obviously depending on his twitter sources with that.

If you think about it, if you throw a _ in the pool you gonna want to see that person reaction when they come up, it’s damn near the whole point

Everybody attention gonna be on that person for a few secs to see the reaction, so if the person don’t come up shortly you gon know something up right then, not 30 mins later

The Peter Gunz thing was funny.

I mean technically she's legal.

but I hate when people try to turn things in to a R Kelly situation like with Leo.

Yeah it’s legal, but it’s “looks a way” I guess. 50 years old knocking up an 18 year old is wild. That’s a 32 year age difference that people are undoubtedly going to raise an eyebrow at.

If he had a history, I'd raise an eye brow, but Gunz has over ten kids. He'll go up in anything raw if they let him.

Thrown in or not, how the **** does a crowded pool party not notice a ***** drowning, it ain't like son just calmly sank to the bottom. You start feeling yourself dropping the average person is WYLIN out grasping for something. I don't know how no one noticed.

It sound crazy but it could easily happen

Drowning don’t 100% always look like how you think it looks because everybody react and swim differently, they got my lil nephew learning to swim right now and that’s one of the things they was stressing hard, it don’t always look all exaggerated.

But apparently _’s was drinking and started fighting and ****, ppl was getting out the pool and I guess that’s when they noticed bruh was drowning and grabbed him out. Medics say he was prolly down there 20-30 mins so it’s entirely possible with everything else popping off it just went under the radar

Drowning is silent, unknown fact. A lot of people drown mere feet from a crowd.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instinctive_drowning_response

Yep 100%

If you look out there you’ll see all kinds of medics etc complaining about how Movies and TV have made us think drowning looks different than the reality

Chances are somebody actually drowning not even gonna have the energy to do all the **** we see in the movies

Perception is crazy man
