I would argue that the Hispanics in NY have a greater tendency to date Blacks than other Hispanics around the country.

Living in NYC, blacks and Hispanics often times occupy a lot of the same spaces. In other areas of the US, it's not uncommon for the racial groups to seclude themselves (for reasons we don't necessarily have to dive into for the sake of this conversation) among their own.

I started noticing it, specifically with football players.

With basketball players you see people like Lebron, Steph and Westbrook with black wives or them date everything like Ben Simmons and Klay.

That good ol boy league, totally different.

How many can you name in the NFL? Russell Wilson?

I think there is a certain attitude that permeates with them.

Now that I think about, the only ones I can think of off top are Michael Bennett and Russ. Shout out to Future though.

Hispanic women are all over the country, not just New York.

And their are an abundance of athletes who seem to date non-black women. And it does seem like many of them have the attitude like let me get my car, house and non-black wife as goals.

Nah, Imma have to agree with Mal when it comes to hispanic women and New Yorkers. It's definitely not that way in other states. Yes there's hispanic women, but they ain't dating black men like THAT. And there definitely isn't Dominicans and Puerto Ricans "All over the country". He's also right about LA. Yes there's a **** ton of Mexican women out here, but again, they ain't dating brothers like THAT. You see it every once in a while.

There's a huge difference comparing Mexicans to DR and PRs.

You see a lot of DR and PR around NY that you would think were black unless they told you. Like Jidenna said earlier, a lot of them come from the same homes and areas. We all have a lot in common.

I've been living out here for like 6 years now. I feel like you're more likely to see interracial dating in the sense of black women dating non-black men way before you see black men with non-black women. And if you do see a black man with a non-black woman, I do agree that it tends to be a white woman or an Asian woman. But I definitely don't see too many black dudes with Mexican women out here.
