The Combat Jack Show Thread

definitely one of my favorite drink champs episodes. Biggs was definitely running hot when Gary start doing too much. Someone behind him ends up rubbing his shoulders to calm him down.

it got super awkward when gary was getting clowned and returned fire with a joke referencing Nore losing his house. He's definitely a bit handicapped.

Yeah just getting to the part of Nore dude asking about the business being racist and irritating Biggs ... Biggs seem like a super serious dude lol

Mal is an idiot

He gets on his high horse for the NFL and has the dumbest stances on the N word. Him trying to equate cracker with the N word? Parks is telling you it's not the same.

Parks and Rory were Jerry Seinfeld and he was Chris Rock.

Did they talk about being around Jay again or just that one second and then they went to Bird Box?

What the hell is Mal talkin bout? :lol

The white dude SAID the N word but he didn't USE it so it's cool? What?

Then he really compared it to saying cracka, when it's 2 white dudes telling you those words don't carry the same weight.

 Them debating "pot luck" makes you realize these dudes never had normal jobs in their adult life.

kanye is officially doing joe rogans podcast smh

that sh*t hitting 8-10 million views easy

Hustling mental health. His twitter melt downs are funny but I can't listen to Kanye ramble about BS.

Is Rogan going to be knowledgeable enough to call him out on his ********?

I don't see how anyone outside the culture can properly interview him and not give him softball questions.

I hate even trying to have these discussions because people are clearly tired of Kanye & anything involving him never draws back non biased answers these days.

But i have got to ask because it's been irking me from the podcast & all these people who take these Takes and run with them

How exactly is Kanye "hustling" mental health? What exactly is he gaining from this "hustling" i'm really interested in the answer.

Because when dude cancelled his LOP tour & was legitimately having breakdowns on stage.... was he profiting then? Was he doing interviews then? or did he disappear for months at a time & stood quiet about the whole thing & getting through it.

During that time i watched as people called him crazy, claimed he should retire, kind of laughed at his "mental illness" & looked at it in a negative light.

So a year or two later when mental health seems to be a much more socially acceptable topic in hiphop culture, he comes out in public telling people about his experience with it & now suddenly he's trying to "hustle" mentall illness.

Everyone seemded to be so up in arms about Kanye using his "influence" & his "voice" to promote Trump & use his power wrong. So ya'll claim that what he says travels far & has an effect, yet he literally said he wants to take the Stigma off mental health issues & wants people to not feel helpless in their situations.... but because we ain't ****in with Kanye right now because of other ****, we completely overlook anything positive he may want to promote.

In an Era where everyone is clamoring to try understand mental illness better & bring more light to it, have more discussions in the open, people then turn around and demonize Kanye for at least attempting to do so.

Not to mention if we're talking about Hustling mental health..... there's TONS of media & influencers who have been doing that for the past few years but that's a whole other topic... So many different people seem to be promoting depression & giving no solutions or resolve. making it sort of a trend.

mental health as a whole is being hustled by most capable of cashing in on it

kanye specifically is hustling it by using it as a scapegoat to talk crazy and keep the money coming in

joe rogan can and will ask him most of the questions you’d like to hear but joe is lowkey racist

kanye is losing favor from most but prolly making more money than he ever has

his shoes don’t sell out as fast but the production numbers are a lot higher

Honestly is he really using it as a scapegoat tho? i've heard him verbatim state that he doesn't want anyone to invalidate his words due to his mental illness, for better or worse he's doubled down on a lot of his statements during this time.

Not to mention it's not like his mental health issues have gained him any sympathy or understanding from the general public, i just don't see how anything he's doing is being helped by him proclaiming his mental issues. I think if that was the case & what his camp wanted to run with it could have been done very easily, with someone who was as beloved as Kanye. He's done basically the exact opposite of anything that would have benefited him in terms of growing his brand.

Also props to you for understanding production numbers have went up as opposed to "sells slowing". People forget that at the beginning of this whole Fashion Journey one of his main goals in creating Yeezy was eventually getting it to a point where he could have a lower price point & more availability, making the brand less "exclusive". He legitimately hammered home on this years ago when people were bashing him for Yeezy's being so limited.

Fast forward three years the product has moved well, he's gotten enough leeway with Adidas that they can now produce higher numbers than ever & now those same people who *****ed about the exclusivity & prices of Yeezy kicks, are now calling it a failure because it isn't "selling out".

You right, it is a ton of people using metal health for promotion and Kanye is one of them. This whole circus, all this BS, then turning around and saying "I got mental health problems". He used it as a excuse and him and CTG was bout to use it for more click bait. Same way how the "me too" movement turned into a overused catch phrase, he's doing the same thing with mental health.

I can't roll with that because iv'e seen him publicly lay claim to his statements & actions numerous times through this whole thing & not blame it on mental health. Like verbatim stated he doesn't want anyone to dismiss his comments as a result of his mental state.

If anyone has tied in the "circus" with mental health it was the media & people who are acting as if Kanye can't have these thoughts w/o it being some kind of mental illness. The only time i heard him refer to his mental health in collabortion with his comments was the TMZ interview, and even then he still maintained the same message... he just claimed that his delivery was a bit off due to the Drugs.

However outside of that Kanye has consistently doubled down on his comments & thoughts w/o tying it too mental health.

This really ain’t a new topic for him tho. Kanye been making lil mental health references and talking about doctors saying he was bi polar since like Late Registration

On TLOP he was talking about going off his Lexapro etc. He was talking about having to take Lexapro on that Vic Mensa U Mad song as well from around that time.

That ‘I Feel Like That’ song was basically the Hopkins Symptoms test in song form lol

I feel like there’s been a lot of hints to his mental state over the years in his music. Seem like people just took it as some “tortured genius” **** and not “okay this _ might actually need some help”. Cudi went through something similar, his fans was lowkey disappointed that he wasn’t depressed no more because the music changed.
