I say this because c's approach was always crass but hilarious because his statements would hold truth in them but lately he's getting further and further from the truth

He googled one of the most generic names on the planet made an assumption based off that and ran with it. Even caught personal feelings

Take your lipstick alley shades off and look at the ENTIRE the post. I posted the link he was referring to and who Andrew's girlfriend really is IG/Twitter link etc. ITS NOT THE SAME PERSON. He made a really stupid assumption.

Fact remains I still have a rift with the person who carries the same name. It's from when she/he was solely on covers forum and before the whole espn thing. Called it on covers he/she was about to get exposed once they got hired over there.

I never even 'googled' his gf....he mentioned her whole name in one of their pods and I assumed it was the same character which had the same exact name

And if you did a good enough investigation old head you would've known that they never knew if the person actually existed or if it was a stolen identity

You did your googles BUT you just weren't smart enough to realize it was a very common name.

If you actually read the article you would know what I'm talking about. There was never a clear cut pic of who she was. It was also accusations that Sarah j Phillips was a stolen identity but it was never proven.

I googled the name + covers.com just to make sure it was the right name cause my issue came from then. Before espn and before the deadspin article.

You jumped the gun cause I said I had a rift trying to figure it out cause you're a bored old man. All this twitter **** is your own investigation ...like you're going way left when I made my stance clear that it was before all the espn/deadspin.

Pete tried to get him to speak specifically on Ross being a snitch or not after he spoke in general about snitching. Pete was trying rationalize it with dirty COs. Gates refused to take the bait. Snitching is snitching. Pete wouldn't let it go.

Gates It's like when someone takes their first psychology class or a psychology major trying to analyze everyone/everything but 1000 times worse

Cool dude overall though. Probably my favorite interview of his.

Gates seemed sort of grumpy from the beginning. That's why I said when I first heard it, I said he might be bi-polar. Even the subjects he was on, talking about past loves and losing people. The whole tone of the interview was different from other ones.

He sort of made comments directed at Pete's questions throughout.

And Pete wasn't going to let the swipe go after he asked the CO question. Pete had a legit question. Pete isn't one to back down when confronted. We just hadn't seen that Pete in two years.

Pete normally connects to ex-cons on the show.

I kind of agree with Charlemagne saying you shouldn't tell your kids about "white priviledges", don't raise them already thinking they are lesser than.

nobody should just tell their kids they're less than

you should tell them their history and how great and prestigious their bloodline is and how people have worked hard to taint that heritage

michael brown is the perfect example of how ignoring real life won't stop real life from happening to your children or anyone for that matter

you'd be a fool to not equip your kids with the knowledge that will better help them understand and navigate the world

Truth. You're not telling your kids they're lesser, you're telling 'em to be aware of how other races might look at you. I couldn't have my kids walking around blind to reality.

He was condescending in his answer though. In his answer he took a swipe at Pete. That's why Pete acted the way he did. Pete isn't the type to let it go.
