i really shouldn't know all this but it was in my algorithm 
buddy is trying to do fashion now, had a 'secret' youtube channel documenting the transition for some time prior to actually announcing he was going chill on streaming & i don't think he has streamed since just appearing in their group vids, this overlapped w/his girl having an 'inappropriate' relationship with a guy, who at the time was hanging out with kai's bro, that supposedly snuffed akademiks at some function 
...to which ak accused kai's friend of setting him up

him seriously trying to do fashion is laudable as a pursuit of passion i guess, hopefully he has some silent backing/investors...fashion is notoriously an industry is neither forgiving or welcoming for even people that actually really live & breath that and are already been in fashion for time but they will take your money if you got it to spend
just about everyone that's an 'outsider' that has tried to get into the fashion ting, not even to talking about the high end of fashion that he seems to be on, has sunk a bunch on money for little financial, personal satisfaction, or even positive critical reception
that noted, given the grind that steaming seems to be it makes sense to try to pivot to something different, hope it works out for the young homie, it is cool to see folk chase something with seemingly genuine interest

With streaming I wonder if it's sustainable. Are people going to continue watching and listening to someone as they grow older? Do they have to worry about other steamers stealing their base? These dudes are going to be doing it at 30, 40...

it’s man already in their 30s & 40s+ streaming with folk watching & it has to be more than 16 year olds because of the money involved…if it’s one thing the pandemic proved it’s that parasocial relationships were not just restricted to young people
i’m sure these man that stream already have all those concerns, sustainability especially with what streaming is, man are basically talking to themselves in a room or going on ‘field trips’ w/cameras & either manufacturing scenarios for entertainment and/or people around make themselves into entertainment for clout/views, which can only be so interesting…even in the most authentic manifestations
so the longevity of streaming is something that they have to be thinking about but i don’t know if most really see it as long term thing rather just the current thing, but it could be similar to how rappers in their 30s & 40s were thought of in theory until it actually became practice because the audience was still there
