Myck was supposed to be that dude
Myck was supposed to be that dude
he was good for those last few games with Texas, but they had no talent around him, but he was AWFUL in summer league.
At what point is Rick Barnes going to pay the price for bad recruiting decisions?
Cameron Ridley can't play, pappetrou might leave, guys transferring, highly touted prospects under performing consistently. I know he can coach defense but I think he can't even get Texas guys like Randle or Keith Frazier; who spurred him for friggin SMU
couldn't make it deep in the tournement with Kevin god danm Durant. How long is he going to eat off of Lamarcus Aldridge and Augistine.
I hear ya but I have a hard time blaming coaches when these "cant miss prospects" dont pan out or should have stayed another year. Rick Barnes brought in Hamilton, Bradley, Thomspon and Kabongo. All of whom left before they were ready. The program would be in a different place in they would have stayed even just one more year.If i had to bet i'd put my money on Smart
And the Texas teams these past couple of years been struggling, had Myck playing with awful talent aground him...Seems like Rick Barnes aint even trying to recruit anymore
Apparently Cal is offering Blackmon
I'm really tired of this ****, Cal can go **** himself.
Who is going to be the better pro between Andrew Harrison , Marcus Smart and Emmanuel Mudiay ?

D.C. Basketball Power-Broker Curtis Malone Charged in Drug Investigation
Posted by Will Sommer on Aug. 12, 2013 at 2:28 pm
For years, Curtis Malone has been the head of DC Assault, a powerhouse D.C. area basketball program. The success of Malone's players has given Malone a national profile, including status as a go-between between players and the colleges that want them and sponsorship for the program from Adidas.
Malone, it seemed, had come a long way since 1991, when he was convicted for distributing crack cocaine. But according to documents filed in federal court today, what Malone once called his "last life" isn't so far behind him.
Malone was arrested Friday in D.C. as part of a year-long DEA investigation. Agents who searched his home found what's believed to be kilo of cocaine, 100 grams of suspected heroin, a handgun, and unnamed items associated with heroin sales, according to court documents. Malone and another alleged dealer have been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin.
^Was just about to post that in the NBA thread (since I don't really post in here)
For people who don't know, DC Assault is THE #1 presence for AAU ball in the DMV. They have a lot of power and anyone who wants to recruit in the area pretty much had to go to Malone first. This is wild but not really surprising, from my experience a lot of these coaches do dirt on the side
